Just got a message from GhostLight records that the off Broadway FRANKENSTEIN cd will be released in Sept. Downloads in early Sept. The actual cds on Sept 20 at Amazon.

Got mine in the mail today and it sounds wonderful! I was one of the few (very few) who really enjoyed this show and it's so wonderful to hear the score/performances once again. There are a few tweaks here and there but for the most part they've presented an only slightly abridged version of the show as it was shown. All the important plot bits are there and the musical numbers as well as nearly all the transition pieces are present as well.

I have to say, as a fan of the show, I'm glad that the creative team were able to present the show so well as a recording and took such great care in doing so. I wish that all shows that may have flopped could be given the same treatment.
