Sounds good to me!
Awesome idea! I'll be there
And so great that they're going to be collecting for BC/EFA.
This news made me so happy. I'll definitely be there.
These are the moments when I hate not living in New York.
Sooooo exciting. I'll be there.
Do we think the tickets will be GA or assigned based on when you arrive on line? I ask because I know sometimes events there are GA, even though this doesn't seem like one that would be.
Great question. I think it'll be assigned seats based on when you arrive.
Anyone know anything definite?
I want to go early to be sure I get in, but I have this fear that if I go too early, I'll be like, first on line and get stuck in the front row, which would probably terrify me.
Wow. I think I'm going to go to this too...what time are you getting there, Em? I'll go with you. Is 4pm too early?
Em, I'd be willing to bet that if you're first in line and you say you don't want to sit in the front row, you won't get an argument. I'm sure you could swap your seat with someone a row or two behind you.
Yeah, I'm sure. I mean, I'm not going to go at 2 in the afternoon or anything, but considering that this is the only way to see the play right now, I have no idea what time people are going to start getting there, and I want to be sure I get in.
WAT -- I'll let you know. :)

Oh man! I had great tickets to see this on Sunday, but when it was cancelled I bought some for January and now have seats for Doris: Darlene on Sunday night...now I might just have to show up for this and sell all the other tickets! Or at least come by the theater afterward and tell all the actors to hang in there. How big is New World Stages? Is that where they did Great American Trailer Park? I'm trying to place it.....
Depends which theater they're using. It's a complex with several spaces.

I guess this was not a very smart question that I asked, since there are exactly 300 seats, that must be the size of the theater....sorry, my brain isn't working too well, it must be on Thanksgiving break! Does everybody think this'll be some crazy, Shakespeare-in-central-park kind of line, or just your basic nice, manageable rush kind of line? Maybe nobody besides us will find out about it?
Well, I hope they fill the house, but I'm not sure if I see it being a HUGE thing. Although, then again, people are itching to see Broadway again, so...
Perhaps I should camp out. :P

Yeah, it may be only a huge thing for a few of us! Does anybody want my Doris/Darlene tickets for Sunday night? Or does anybody know what Playwrights Horizons does to idiot subscribers like me if they want to change their tickets more than once? Oh well, maybe I can past-date....I don't even know if that show is supposed to be any good, there has not been much on the boards about it.
Buzz actually thinks it is a really cool idea and may be up for heading in. It'll be tough though since we will be heading in on Sat for Radio City. I hope we can work it all out!!!
I'll be there!
I went home for Thanksgiving, and I won't be back in NYC until Sunday at like midnight. Unbelievable... I REALLY wish I could go!
Local One may Stop eveything this weekend.
Expect a BIG line for this one. I'm planning on getting there around 2 or 3. Great that they're doing this for BC/EFA, especially given how much $ they are losing from the strike

wow, that early? Does anyone else have an idea of when they're going?
Emcee, if you get stuck in the front row, I'll be a martyr and trade seats with you
I figured I'd head up right after church...so that's in the 2-ish range.

Can someone post around 4:30pm Sunday to say how long the line is?
I'm seeing the closing performance of Mauritius on Sunday and will head to New World Stages from there. I should be alright if I get there around 4:30-5 right?
