Nope, there is no linkable source yet. I'd imagine they'd wait until, at least, the show lets out. Which isn't for another 20 mins or so.

Posted: 12/3/08 at 4:21pmI'm torn . . . between being sad for the people losing their jobs and for the state of Broadway in general, and being happy that this piece of crap is finally coming to an end.
#10re: GREASE closing January 4th
Posted: 12/3/08 at 4:22pmSo how many shows is that now closing on the 4th?
#11re: GREASE closing January 4th
Posted: 12/3/08 at 4:24pmI heard they're all staggering their start times (from 9am to 10pm, with no intermissions) so that coolkid can attend them all.

"So how many shows is that now closing on the 4th?"
Hairspray
Boeing Boeing
Grease
Young Frankenstein
I feel sorry for the cast and crew who are losing their jobs, but as for the show itself, well, if I've ever been happy to see a show close, it's this one.
Edited because I forgot to say Young Frank.

I'm Surprised this terrable show has lasted this long.
Will they bring back Max & Laura?
Even If they do I don't think it'll do much for the box office

I guess it's just me, but I am never happy when a show closes. There are many reasons for this but I am never happy about people losing jobs.
I would be very happy if coolkid11776 just shut his mouth. He is such a Broadway "expert" and seems to gloat over any show's closing. Guess he is not employed and doesn't know what it is like to be out of work, particularly in this economy.

Thank God. And Jesus. And Buddha. And the Spirit of Atheism. And the Great Pumpkin.
Thank you all, you just made my day.
