They were getting a divorce and she just suddenly disappeared off the face of the earth.

She moved to Florida I believe

This was promoted like crazy - I hardly call it a tribute, memorial, remembrance episode since they were clearly in it for the ratings. Let's be honest kids, it's Glee. They have been trashing well known songs, artists, and musicals since day one, and will promote the f*ck out of whatever their current episode is to get ratings - even if it is supposed to be an episode that is a tribute.

I think the whole thing is just odd. A couple of years ago I was bordering on full-blown gleek - I even paid a small fortune to see the live tour (where Corey actually handed my friend a drumstick!), but now...I don't know. Maybe I've just grown up into a real boy.
