Does it feel like everybody is a little low-energy tonight? I liked Marissa's Mambo, but I said the same thing Len did. It needed to be a little more down and dirty and down in the hips. That being said...I thought it was much better that both Jason and Mario. I thought Mario's jive was a hot mess and yet he got TWO 9's! WTF? What's with him getting 9's and yet Marissa is still getting 8's? Boo.
Also, I think the red sparkly dress from the mambo was the best she's looked all season! She looked awesome!
They got a little out of step early on but they made up for it. I think they'll be at the top of the leader board for tonight. And I'm worried about Marissa.

I'm afraid Marissa's had it--quite unfairly, since her strutting dance to "New York, New York" was ultra-classy and the samba was great! I was a little uncomfortable, though, when she made a slight bid for sympathy votes by mentioning her cancer recovery.
Cristian is also working sympathy, but his dances tonight were a lot more exciting than usual, and Cheryl made good use of his limitations.
Not only Edyta, but most of the female partners tonight are going all skimpy-Salome. Disturbing...
I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."
Is it me... or is Cheryl doing most of the work in the dances tonight?
No ma'am -- this is Cheryl's forte: pumping and tossing that head and leading. Of all the professional dancers on that show, Cheryl has always obviously lead all of her partners AND over dances everything. Edyta has those leg tricks and Cheryl has those head pumps/tosses.
If anything... I give huge kudos to Cheryl working with Cristian's one-arm limitations and creating those dances they both did last night. He's NEVER danced better AND the one-arm work (and tricks) she created were sensational.
I'm still speechless with Jason's tango (wow!), and Marissa keeps getting better and better each week. Those lifts were sheer perfection and looked great on her.

Tonight, the last four remaining stars will dance two random dances they have learned for yout votes to put them into next week's finals! Also, the season finale is next Tuesday.
I don't know what it is--but Marissa begging for votes on the show and this site is SO off-putting to me. Too needy or something. I actually loved Mario (thought he was fun and sexy).
Jason starts off with a Fox Trot to "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off". Len felt that he glided through the fox trot like a dolphin. Bruno felt that he had grace and showman ship. Carrie Ann noted his posture, charisma, and content.
