I also think that audience would have ate up seeing Hagrid even if it was just for a brief moment at the end.

Whaaaat! I agree, this was one of my favorite moments, I can’t believe they cut that! I’m very much losing interest in seeing this version of the show.

This is going to sound absolutely ridiculous in terms of questions about what they did/didn't keep, but - did Draco's "farmer's market" line at Godric's Hollow make the cut in the new version?

Yes, I think it did.

Yes, it remained.
More cuts/changes:
During the bedroom scene between Harry and Albus (the pre-Hogwarts gifts), Albus tells Harry that Scorpius is important to him.
In Alternate Timeline 2, the library scene between Scorpius, Craig, and Polly is cut. Scorpius finds out that Snape is alive in his scene with Umbridge.
In the restored timeline, Harry and Draco no longer confront Amos Diggory about Delphi. During the search of Delphi's bedroom, Ron mentions that he found out Amos doesn't have a niece.
In the 1981 church scene, Albus and Ginny no longer have a conversation about Delphi.
In the restored timeline staircase scene between Albus and Scorpius, Scorpius "can't believe" he asked Rose "to be [his] friend" and that he wants her to be a part of his "Palace of Harmony." When she responds, instead of responding only to Scorpius, she addresses both of them.
The show ran slightly less than 3½ hours with the intermission. I honestly don't miss any of the cut material, but I think they're is still some smoothing they can do.

Is the Death Eaters' march from the beginning of Part II still in the show?

Taffy - It was at reopening on November 12th and I haven't heard of it being cut since. I love that moment, so hopefully it stays in.

Anyone go recently and notice if there was any understudies on? Curious what happened with that and them having to cancel Friday.

Saw it tonight. There was an understudy on for Harry. Not sure if that's why Friday eve was cancelled, but that would make a lot if sense.

I saw the show on Friday, 11/26. We had Steve Haggard on for James Snyder's Harry Potter. I found him to be brilliant in the role. He had great chemistry with both Albus and Ginny. I did not see the show in it's previous incarnation, but feel that it is cohesive as a one evening event, and it really is an event! The immersive aspects of the show were like nothing I have ever experienced before. My 10 & 12 year old children were both captivated for the entire 3.5 hours, as were the adults. The music of Imogen Heap was brilliantly used for dramatic effect throughout.
A couple of the performances fell a bit flat for me. Jenny Jules' Hermione was a bit flat. She did not have the presence needed for the Minister of Magic. She was very grounded in her choices... like she was in a different play than everyone else. Nadia Brown's Rose on the opposite end was one-level obnoxious throughout. I actually didn't mind when her character looped away.
Karen Janes Woditsch, Stephen Spinella, and Edward James Hyland found nuance in bringing familiar characters from the tome into this new storyline. David Abeles' Ron brought great comic timing and physicality to the table. I found the Potter and Malfoy families to be fantastic. James Romney as Albus was a true discovery. I'm excited to see what else he does in the future!
My biggest gripe though was that there was no Butter Beer!!?? What's up with that?

He's been on for a while now, so I'm guessing Snyder's the reason for that Vandergrift performance.

They did Rose dirty. Even Delphi is a more liable character. It's definitely the script.
"Stephen Spinella"
I find his Voldemort too cartoonist. He forgets that he's playing Harry playing Voldemort. It's a shame they couldn't figure out a way to put the Voldemort had on Harry and let the actor do it.
"My biggest gripe though was that there was no Butter Beer!!?? What's up with that?"
I'm guessing the theatre has a contractual obligation with Boylan that prevents them from bringing in other beverages.

Does anyone know why James Snyder has been out of the production since performances have resumed?

James and I are friends. I've texted him and received no response. This is unusual for him and I'm worried.
Will postvwhen I hear from him.

Glad to see it wasn’t just me in noticing the shift in tone of the relationship between Albus and Scorpius. I found this worked very well for the production and gave the characters clear and personal motivations.
By the way, I found Haggard wonderful as Harry.

Haven’t seen this new production, but just to clarify, Albus and Scorpius are more romantically motivated to be with each other now? That’s a pretty big and exciting change for the franchise.
Separately, on another message board/site, there was a rumor that James Snyder has left the production officially.

Hmmm.....I don't know about that. The last text message I got from him was all about how excited he was to be returning to the show.

Correct, it’s heavily hinted that they have feelings for each other. Harry even mentions it in the final scene. Also, I believe both characters are played by non-binary actors.

They come out without coming out. All dialogue that alludes to Scorpius having a crush on Rose (and Polly Chapman) has been excised; now it's explicitly stated he only wants to be "friends" with Rose. Similarly, the hints of Albus's crush on Delphi has been reduced (after she kisses his cheek in the forest, his elation dissolves into confusion). There are a few other moments in the show that hint at it, but his final statement to Harry about Scorpius, and Harry's reaction, basically confirms a romantic interest.

I wonder if more explicit language/staging have been added since I saw it a couple weeks ago. It seemed a little more ambiguous (but still pretty obvious).

Does anyone who went to see the show this year know if you actually have to show up an hour before the show starts? I am going this weekend and I was curious

No, you don't, unless you want to look around the lobby and/or browse merch. The doors to the auditorium won't open until 30 minutes before. I got to the theatre about 25 minutes early last weekend, and the line outside to get in was short.

Mr Music: The dialogue, esp the final scene, has definitely been updated to make it far more certain that it’s a burgeoning relationship AND that Albus’ parents are supportive. I liked it.
Kalesprep: :30 will do it. We got in fairly easily and quickly at the :25 mark.
