This makes an incredible amount of sense.

It looks like there are still over a 100 tickets for sale in the mezzanine section and about 175 tickets left for sale in the rest of the venue."

the reunion that nobody asked for

you cant tell ppl what they are supposed to like and what shows they are supposed to attend

yet another vanity project

"

Who's forcing you to attend anything here?

its not about coercion

its the amount of hand wringing on here asking why a show isnt succeeding and why that show isnt getting the attendance numbers it quote should unquote be getting and why that show isnt getting rave reviews

not good shows make it to broadway all the time and in many cases it is because they are vanity projects

many good shows lack the same connections to producers and investors or have bad luck with timing and other factors

there have been posts complaining about the failure of this show that have very similar themes to the posts about another one of this seasons flops lempicka

If this is about being a showcase to try drum up interest for tour, which seems like.a reasonable guess, it's surprising they're not papering the mezzanine. The floor and promenade sections are mostly sold out, it's the mezzanine seats no one wants, even discounted to $28.

Anyway, I'm not going tonight.

On another board someone posted that they announced a West End transfer.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

This sounds like something that would go over even worse in London than here!

Though perhaps a different director and designer could help some aspects.

You forgot to mention a new book writer and new composers.

It is going off-west end, no one from the Broadway cast is transferring with it

also the concert opened with a video greeting from Ludacris which was met with laughs because he never actually saw the show while it was running, truly cringe

Curious to see how much of the creative team will stay the same for the UK mounting.

Meanwhile, let’s get Liam Pearce as our next Orpheus!
