Lord, I'm trying to be fair, but this soundtrack is making Pasek and Paul sound like Rodgers and Hammerstein. Apart from some nice-sounding vocal arrangements, I haven't heard a single musical idea that I haven't heard in another musical that used it better.

Anyone else hear "Touch Me" from Spring Awakening in "Waves & Wires" or is that just me? Haven't seen the show, so unsure if it comes across like that in the theatre.

Where did you see that it was closing?"
You didn't see it anywhere because it hasn't been announced.
Seriously, I don't understand what's so hard about not posting online sounding so definitive about a show's closing date until the show itself officially announces it.
If you don't have insider info, you're just speculating. No matter how likely it may be it's just a rumor. And if you do have insider info, at least wait until an official announcement comes out. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with speculating. It's clear that the show is struggling and will very likely close sooner rather than later. But posting "It's closing on *insert specific date* or specific amount of time when nothing to that effect has been formally announced doesn't help anything. When the show and official news sources are ready to announce the closing they will. Until then, nothing is carved in stone.

Cast album updates don’t often appear in conjunction with the closing notice, correct? To my knowledge, I can only recall Mrs. Doubtfire recently hid the fact that their recording would have a June 2022 release in the final performance announcement.

I think there might have been some confusion based on the show's ads - they have a 2 for 1 ticket promotion that ends February 4, but there's no indication that the show itself has set an early closing date.

A shame. Say what you will about the quality of the show, but it’s scary to see shows fold this quickly. We live in a different world now, unfortunately.

I’m sad the show is closing but I think it’s disingenuous to blame anyone other than the people deciding to mount this production without the workshops and out-of-town tryouts necessary to fix the many problems with the script. It’s hard to imagine that the uninteresting subplots could survive even the first read through. I know from the posters on this board that many were excised during the preview period and I salute those choices, but the final product was still riddled with extraneous storylines that were not only sleep-inducing, but also prevented the writers from exploring the main characters and major plot details in sufficient depth.
I’m glad I saw the show. Some scattered moments were quite memorable and the performances of the young cast were inspiring. I found Liam Pearce to be especially endearing as Drew and look forward to following his career trajectory. But despite its treasures I wasn’t comfortable recommending the show to anyone, and that’s a shame.

There used to be a time when flop shows regularly folded before their performances cracked double digit numbers.

I know this week was the BAA conference in Miami, but it’s still weird to see an entire producing team of a struggling show is on social media relaxing in Miami while their show is preparing to go belly up. Just weird to me personally.

The show nobody asked for brings you the reunion concert nobody asked for.

I'll say this, it's certainly easier coordinating everyone's schedules for a reunion concert when the cast haven't had time to find a new job yet.
In terms of demand for this, so far the only comments responding to the video announcing the concert on the show's Twitter page is pictures of random porn images.

They couldn’t get people to the Belasco with heavy papering, and even then it barely broke 60-70% most weeks. Surely a 2100 capacity venue will work out better! (Sarcasm font)
Unless they are gambling on the slim possibility of a Best Score Tony nomination, I feel like this is just going to be a major humiliation for all involved.
They tried, they had mild success on some fronts, but they need to take the L and go home.

There's a "flash sale" on tickets to the reunion concert. It looks like all the mezzanine seats row J and behind are now $28.40. It looks like there are still over a 100 tickets for sale in the mezzanine section and about 175 tickets left for sale in the rest of the venue.

this concert is being done during the road conference in order to try and put a tour together

There definitely should be a tour, but that does not seem likely, as producers would not want to invest in a show that sadly flopped on Broadway. Believe me, I want this show to find a bigger audience, but it just does not seem like this would happen.
