^You beat me to it. I specifically bought a ticket for a Sunday matinee (January) because I wanted to see Javier's performance as well.
"does anyone know what dates he is filming looking?
Filming is supposed to take place in October or November according to one of the creators.

There is a stretch in the spring when they are dark on Sundays but have Monday night shows. Wondering if Javier will be taking the Monday nights. I have Monday night tickets in April and it will be my 5th time, so I'd really like to see him.

According to the Hamilton website, Javier will go back to Saturday matinees during that stretch. In the spring, the show reverts back to the schedule they have now so him going on Saturday matinee makes the most sense.

I guess I'll just have to get tickets and go back again. BUMMER.
Saw this today and needless to say it was incredible. There was just so much energy from everyone in the cast. Some how I scored a great seat that I only purchased this past Saturday. I'm seeing it again on the 26th and I can't wait. On a side note, Im pretty sure I saw Taye DIggs there. He was a row ahead of me on the aisle. I was in spitting distance. I could be wrong though cause obviously that would mean he skipped the matinee of Hedwig today. Anyway, I had a great time and look forward to seeing it again.

I don't think Hedwig has a Wednesday matinee, so it could very well have been Taye Diggs!

It is impossible to skip that which does not exist.

Dammit, I knew I should have said something. He walked right by me but I didn't want to embarrass myself if it wasn't him. Btw he seemed to thoroughly enjoy it, though he did seem to be checking his phone a lot.
Row L seat 4(right orch). He was the row in front of me but in the center orch aisle seat.

You were further down than me. I was in row O seat 8. I wondered of you heard someone making odd noises, like shrieking during the second act of the show. You were probably too far down. It scared the crap out of me. I'm not sure if it was a man/woman but after a few outbursts, an usher spoke to the person.
Andrea McArdle & Anthony Rapp were there tonight. That was fun to see.
So I've avoided reading/watching basically anything about this show until I saw tonight. And I really liked it. I don't think it's the theatrical equivalent to the second coming of Christ like most people here do, but I truly enjoyed it. The audience reaction was very strong but afterwards the reactions walking out really fascinated me. They went from "That was great" to "I didn't understand anything". Exit reactions were nowhere near what they sounded like they would be from all the screaming during the curtain call.
Besides that, I was very impressed with the entire cast and I completely forgot Goldsberry was in this and man, she was amazing. The voice that woman has is something truly special. And I loved Groff, although I completely forgot he was in it for most of the shows running time. I do wish he had more to do on stage, but he stole each of those scenes (even though they were pretty much just him alone on stage lol).
Anyways, I thought it was a very good show and well worth the $50 or so I spent to sit in the mid mezz. And special recognition must be paid to thechoreography, which was just unreal.
Oh, and did anyone else think certain parts sounded exactly like they were lifted from BRING IT ON? Because I walked out of the theater tonight with songs from that stuck in my head.

Yeah I heard the shrieking. Everyone around me looked back to see what was going on. Very odd.
I was sitting in the front row and could hear that woman shrieking. It sounded like she was being murdered and was most noticeable at the end of "One Last Ride." It's good to know that ushers actually do their jobs sometime and reprimanded the woman.
I saw Taye Diggs in the restroom and felt no need to speak to him after seeing that horrible performance as Hedwig. Was he checking his phone throughout the show or just at intermission?
Jordan, I'm glad you were able to finally see it and enjoyed it. I know this seems really minuscule but it's a shame you didn't get to see Anthony Ramos as John Laurens/Phillip. Andrew Chappelle was really not doing it for me especially as Phillip. He never really had the physicality of a child that Anthony portrays.
He was checking his phone throughout the show. He had an aisle seat so he'd kind of lean over and look down at it. I could just notice it because of the angle I was sitting at.
How did you like the show Clyde? I personally loved it.

Well that's extremely rude of him. Now I don't feel sorry about all the people who were texting throughout HEDWIG.
I've seen the show numerous time and I love it. Somehow it's even better than when it was at The Public which I didn't even think possible.

Wow. You could hear her all the way up front. She was a few rows behind me and it was loud. It was kind of shocking. It sounded maniacal. I get a little nervous going anywhere these days with these theatre shootings. Once I felt like I wasn't going to die, I was worried about her. I thought maybe she had some sort of illness like Tourette's. or something. The usher was awesome. He looked nervous approaching her, but he handled it.

It's times like these I wished I lived in New York. I'm sure there will be videos on social media.

But that's so vague.
i have to admit... You know I didn't love the show the first time I saw it... But I went back cause you guys made me feel guilty about leaving. I liked it better. I should know better than to go anywhere with my ex-hub, he's a good guy, but I can only I tolerate him for small bits of time. I think he hindered my enjoyment of the show, Anyway, I haven't stopped singing the songs since Wednesday, but the odd thing is whenever I start singing them, since I don't know many lyrics, they always end as some song from Les Miz. In short, you were right and I was wrong.

Well I love Hamilton and I love les mis, so I didn't find the tweet too vague to wish I could be there.

I actually noticed that it was in the news links here. Too cute. I was hoping it would be confrontation. Also makes me wish I could see Les mis with Jean-baptiste. He is crazy talented. Wish there was a way to schedule a trip around seeing an understudy.
I saw Zachary Quinto saw the show this past week, and he took a photo with Jonathan Groff. I wonder if there was any awkwardness between the two? Or maybe they've remained friends after breaking up.
Isn't the photo proof that there was less awkwardness than you are imagining?
