Sunset marks her 4th show this season?? I think this warrants a thread. I'm going to guess DEH is next on her bucket list. Maybe Come From Away too. https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/Social-Hillary-Clinton-Receives-Standing-Ovation-at-SUNSET-BOULEVARD-20170215

You know that girl you almost asked out in high school, that now when you see out in public you think, "Huh, what if?". That's what I feel with Hillary Clinton at broadway shows.

I was at Sunset Blvd tonight in the mezzanine. Before the show, a commotion began, and word quickly spread. I got a few pics, and from then on I was on quite a high, it really elevated the evening.

Did the Clintons have good seats?
She's a private citizen and a New Yorker. Going to theater is something a lot of New Yorkers do.
I hope she sees Natasha Pierre at some point. Also Bandstand.

She is big! It's the presidency that got small...
Alex, that response made me think of the final La La Land montage. Lol. Somebody should make a viral video and use Hillary and America in place of Mia and Sebastian...
This made me chuckle -
"Guys, what if @HillaryClinton is just starting a theatre podcast"

I was just thinking of the controversy over the Trump Tower security bill and noted that the Clintons still have a security detail. Does anyone here know if they have a pied a terre in the City? I recall that Bill's office is in Harlem and I think they still have the house upstate.

I could be wrong, but don't all former presidents get some form of secret service type security for the rest of their lives?
Hillary must know how Norma Desmond feels.

speaking of Norma and Hillary and Glenn, I wonder what Mrs. Clinton thought of Glenn's brief parody of her at last year's Tony Awards lol (A Clinton Line)

Yes, all presidents and their spouses receive lifetime secret service protection. Congress tried to change it at some point (I believe it was during Bill's second term) to limit it to 10 years after leaving office, so at one point Bill and Hillary would have been the last to receive lifetime protection. Obama, however, signed a bill a few years ago that restored the lifetime detail for both himself and George and Laura Bush, as well as any future presidents.
...So is Michael John LaChiusa already working on the next First *insert title here* Suite, or what?

I believe Chelsea lives in the city.

She was at Sesame Street Live today at Madison Square Garden with Chelsea and the grandkids!
No wonder in transit is still open!

How do you get that from the article, Jorge?
^WHY The lead producers, Janet and Marvin Rosen, are close to the Clintons; Mr. Rosen is a former finance chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

Alex I can't relate the 'what if' to Hillary at Broadway shows-please explain. I only asked out boys, and got my nose punched !
Surely there must be somewhere a person of note can sit in a theatre and not be seen by the public. Wait--everyone is seated--now GO !!
Don't need a celebrity in the audience to help 'elevate the/my evening'.
