If there are absolutely horrible anomalies in the formatting, it's more likely to be caused by the user's OS than from the coding in the BWW site.
The worst formatting error I've encountered in BWW's quote function is an occasional dropped space between words.

The quote button is not a requirement, and it's funny that people can't simply scroll up or discern what someone is talking about without the sometimes very, very long quote as reference. Everyone has their own style and complaining about it because you don't get it is really amusing.
In other news, Laura will be performing at the the Racist Alternative Nazi Halftime Show (Featuring Charlie Kirk's ghost as the special guest) since Bad Bunny is absolutely NOT an American citizen.....right?

That absolutely comes down to BWW's coding. Formatting is near universal on a modern OS. BWW operates on very outdated software and stacks quotes on top of quotes instead of only carrying over the most recent.

"Even during Trump's first term, while I'm sure there are a few who declined, there was no problem finding distinguished honorees and high-profile peers to celebrate them. The difference this year is that Trump has seized the Kennedy Center, and the Honors, to be used as a tool to celebrate him and his garbage values."
Excellent point and thanks for noting it.

"show her picture to 10 people on the street and zero will know who she is, saying she is a star is laughable "
Any bets that I could show picture of Kelli O'Hara on the street and nobody will be able to tell you who she is, and she is a true Broadway star.
Do a google and ask if Laura Osnes is a "Broadway star" - see AI response below. Nobody is going to compare her to Audra, Chenowith, Idina and others but before controversy she was just not some "run of the mill" performer.
"Yes, Laura Osnes is widely considered a Broadway star, known for originating and starring in major roles like Sandy in Grease, Cinderella in Cinderella, Nellie Forbush in South Pacific, and Bonnie in Bonnie & Clyde, earning her two Tony Award nominations and critical acclaim for her "ingénue" roles with an underlying strength, solidifying her status in the Broadway community"

"Star" is something granted by people, not Google's AI Bot. So no... she is not a star. She is a person who has been on Broadway and then ruined her career and is no longer on Broadway. Maybe she could have been, but she snuffed that out before she got out of her ingenue phase so the world may never know. And before we make statements of Bias, Christine Ebersole is absolutely insane. Still a Broadway Star.

She hasn't been on Broadway in nearly a decade and there are a thousand other actors who do exactly what she used to do on a Broadway stage. She was nothing special and was very easily replaced. New York theater lost nothing when she moved to MAGA Heights, USA.

One of my favorite moments of my life was when I tweeted that I couldn’t wait to see Laura Osnes and Zachary Levi in a production of The Last 5 Years at a dinner theatre in Montana and she blocked me.

Google 'bot says "known for originating..." then proceeds to list three out of four roles in revivals where she's not even in the top five names known for the roles. 😅

It actually said "known for originating and starring" and i'd say most of the roles it listed are main characters in their respective shows

Yeah, duh. They highlight "originating" when she's mostly known for being hardly-memorable in roles performed many times previously... 🙄

She still works with a lot of broadway people. Ramin Karimloo, Matt Morrison, Kerry Butler, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Paul wontorek, others, they all comment on her stuff on insta. Not sure if she’s looking for a Broadway return, it also could be a risk for producers but if she auditions and somebody wants to cast her, it could happen.

Well Rodgers and Hammerstein are both dead, so I dont think she's working with them. Paul is nog a Broadway person, he just wants attention.

The Rodgers and Hammerstein estate I guess. She sings til there was you the best I’ve ever heard. I’d love to see her as Marian paroo, Eliza Doolittle, Carrie Pepperidge

You mean you’re so stupid that you don’t remember that you have posted pretty much the same identical crap over various screen names?????

I think this is more a critique of your coherence, rather than your knowledge, but of course "Till There Was You" is by Meredith Wilson, not R&H.
Anyhow, you might want to familiarize yourself with the concept of compulsory license - people can perform or record songs without any approval from the songwriters or their estates.

She got Tony award nomination for her role in "Bonny & Clyde" which was not revival, and she originated the role. Her last Broadway role (Bandstand) she did not get Tony nomination but did receive Drama Desk nomination for her role in the show. Once again, show was not revival, and she originated the role. I am not saying she is a huge Broadway "star" but for people to belittle her talent on this thread is not fair. Just getting a leading role in any Broadway musical IMO means you are pretty talented. Fine, if you want to hate her for other reasons to each their own.

Well that was brutal, just as it should be. Poor Michael Crawford.

Might help if you spelled her name correctly. We all make "typos" so I will give you a bit of a break -lol. Laura Osnes was asked to sing to honor Michael Crawford. Her opportunities to work have been cut down so she took this opportunity to perform and get paid (union wages). We all know why she was asked, other Broadway performers would not accept.

If they have trouble finding people for next yar I imagine some of this years winners will be asked if they'd mind getting the award again.
