According to Michael Urie's Tweet. He read as Bud Frump; DHP as Mr. Biggley and Daniel as Finch.
Truly wonderful casting. I hope this happens.

played D.hydepierce's nephew and Daniel Radcliffe's nemisis in a reading of How 2 Succeed in Biz w/out rlly tryig. It was a thrill & a half!
Grammar is his second "nemisis".
Blaxx, didn't you know that having poor grammer is a prerequisite for getting a twitter account? There's a test when you sign up and you get an account only if you fail. It's a way to keep those of us who write full sentences from using too much bandwith.
Apparently.
What a cast! I'd love to see Radcliffe in a musical. So who played Rosemary?

I love this show, and the cast for this reading sounds incredible. If they can keep Radcliffe, DHP and Urie this will be an AMAZING revival.
Radcliffe is the PERFECT age for Finch. It sounds like it is going to be a little less cartooney than the last revival which I am excited about.
I think Diana DeGarmo would be a terrific Rosemary.
I would sell my first born (who hasn't been born yet) for this revival. This is by far one of my favorite shows!
This sounds like a winner all the way!
This is almost too good. Radcliffe, Hyde Pierce, Urie... and then Lewis Stadlen and Nancy Opel?! I have to ask myself, how will this one get ****ed up royally?
Nancy Opel? Yes, please!
When I was reminded the last revival was 15 years ago, I nearly dropped my jaw....where DID the time go???
I LOVE this idea and the casting of the reading is superb. Whoever mentioned Diana DeGarma...please keep her FAR away from this production if it moves forward.
I would die if this cast came to Broadway! Daniel Radcliff as Finch is truly inspired casting. As is Nancy Opel as Miss Jones.

I don't know How to Succeed well, but it does sound like it's been casted excellently. I just hope it's not going to be one of those revivals that lacks in quality and is just driven by star power.
romgitsean - I feel the same way, but I don't think it'll be driven by star power. Not, if it continues in the direction it's going. Yes, DHP and Daniel Radcliff are "stars," but they're also stage veterans who have come to be respected in the theatre industry.
And "casted" isn't a word :)
The only thing Radcliffe is a veteran of is the Potter franchise.
That's not to say he won't be magnificent, but it's a little like the time Matt Lauer asked Lauren Bacall what it was like to work with a legend like Nicole Kidman.

My bad-mywonderwa11. I always forget that 'cast' doesn't have a past tense :P

By hiring Des McAnuff.
I would be thrilled to see this revived, but am I the only one who's not sold on Radcliffe as Finch? I mean, I haven't seen him in much, but I would much rather see someone like Bobby Steggert or Aaron Tveit in the role (despite the fact that their names aren't as commercially friendly as Radcliffe's).
I do love the idea of David Hyde Pierce, though.
"The only thing Radcliffe is a veteran of is the Potter franchise."
He acquitted himself quite well in Equus.
This cast has me at hello.
Hmm... I won't believe he was great until I see it. Having never heard him sing or play a part in anything even reminiscent of musical comedy, I have my doubts. But then again, a part of me will always think of him as Harry Potter.
I would love to see Ramona Mallory as Rosemary opposite Radcliffe's Finch.
I know he hasn't done any musical comedy, but I think Dan Radcliffe proved with Equus and the most recent Harry Potter movie that he is a very capable actor. He was also very into the whole Broadway experience, and seems like he is very keen on working hard and returning soon.
