There are about 80 in priority now (upstairs) and 40-50 in general (upstairs). Pit and seated are mixed right now. Not as many folks here as I thought. More updates soon."
Yes, please provide more updates for us!
My question is can you bring your own food into the waiting venue? And once you get to wait inside, is someone in your party allowed to go out to get some real food? Or risk losing your place?
Also curious how many people got in and how extra early you had to arrive. I plan on driving in tomorrow but not sure where to park as we are being shuttled so if anyone has any insight into how far away check in and shuttle to the show is that would be great!
For priority ticket holders who got there early: were you pleased with your seat assignments? What part of the venue did they begin seating audience members from?
I'll be able to get there early tomorrow and am curious if I'll have a decent view after a long wait.

There are in fact two separate dropoff locations as well, one for Pink and Green wrists and one for Yellow."
I have pit for tomorrow, and that just made me even more excited to hear you say that. Care to elaborate?

For put you want to be seated towards the runway, not the center. Lots of running happens there and high diving. My phone is near death, but I will give a blow for blow when I'm back to my car (I'm in a shuttle right now)
Wristbands were as follows:
VIP (diff shuttle location): yellow
Seated: pink "salmon", and a second green when they ran out of tickets
We both had general seated tickets. They processed all the priority seated first, then started processing us general seated. I got REALLY nervous because they ran out of printed tickets (with seat assignments) right in front of us, and instead we got a second wristband. But then once we got to the actual venue, I think it worked out better for us because we were closer, in the seated section in between the bleacher seats and the pit.
I don't think you get a choice of where to sit/stand. It was literally you go here, you go there, etc.
We spent about an hour and a half at the check in location, and then another hour getting shuttled over and to the Armory. Once we got to the Armory, I was in the second group to get escorted to the restroom. And they basically told us hurry, we're starting soon.
I had general seated seats tonight and was absolutely blown away by the show!!! First of all, 1iota was absolutely incredible. They were so nice, organized, and helpful - I had only completely positive interactions with everyone on their team and I now understand their crazy ticketing process must be for a reason, because everything today was totally seamless. I had General Seated admission, and had seats in section 700 on the side. I got there super early and was first in line (unnecessary since the ticketing ended up to be pretty random, but I wanted to be safe!) I could see everything - the venue is massive but the seating area is intimate, so mostly everyone will have a great view (there were some seats on the extreme side - not sure how much they could see.) The pit looked awesome too, but after standing so long I was happy to have a seat. The set is just unreal, like nothing I've ever seen before. The acoustics and lighting were especially incredible!!! Everyone sounded insanely amazing. I am not a huge John Legend fan, but he blew me away. Sara Bareilles made me cry every time she sang. The ending was the most powerful thing I've ever seen in a theater. I'm SO curious to see how this all translates to the screen! Also loved the dancing. Anyone who has a ticket for tomorrow, get VERY excited - it was a really fantastic experience from start to finish (minus the days of angst when I was praying for tickets!)
You don't have to take the shuttle back, you can leave from the venue.
I'm not sure where the yellow wristband check in location was. But the two sets of shuttles had signs saying neither Hotel or BAM.
They gave us one bottle of water, a granola bar, and a piece of fruit. If you can bring something small (like another granaloa bar or something) I say do it. I'm starving!
They had black bags on out seats when we arrived. They didn't say anything about the bags until we were dismissed. They told us to leave them, because they were going to be used tomorrow. We assumed for tomorrow's broadcast, they'll have people place their things in them. Not sure what they'll do for pit. I have did notice for pit they cut off their wristbands, assuming so they wouldn't be seen.
It was really well done! I unexpectedly got emotional a couple of times. I can't wait to watch on tv tomorrow
Also forgot to say apparently there were people turned away. After we got our phones freed, someone said her friend with pit got turned away. Not sure what time her friend arrived.

Phones freed? Eeppp...I can only imagine no phone use is allowed but what does this mean?
Got to the check in location at 1 pm. There still weren't many people there at that time. Was one of the first people directed to get in line for General upstairs. Actually ended up next to dirily (hello!).
An epic production. I didn't know the show and wouldn't be considered anyone's fan in the cast, other than Norm Lewis. Just loved loved loved John Legend's performance. And Brandon Victor Dixon blowing the roof off as Judas. It was an exhausting experience but it ended up being worth it. Y'all are in for a treat!
Upon entry, pink and green wristbands had our phones places in these bags that lock up with something like a clothing anti theft device. Yellow wristbands got to keep their phones, but they did announce to put them away, no pictures, etc.

Go to sleep early tonight if you're going LOL."
Can someone please tell me once you get to wait inside, is someone in your party allowed to go out (to buy food or something), or risk losing your place? Are you allowed to bring some non-offensive smelling food, like a sandwich or salad inside?
I wanna get there early, but worried I'd be hungry. The live show doesn't end till 11pm!

There had been green and grey bags in 3 sizes: Medium, Large and Xtra large. My 6S+ in an otter box was in a large, and my mom's 6S in a redbubblee case was in medium. They were magnetically secured in a bag. I suggest you to put it in your pocket and say you do not own a phone, so you do not miss family emergencies.
Food was scarse, you got one piece of banana and one granola bar. I had brought a box of Almond!Pocky, but you will definitely need more food than that.
Also Carmilla, you were the best line/seatmate one could wish for at this!
I’m getting so excited now!! I have priority and it says I need to check in by 5. Do you think I need to get there much sooner than that? I realize there could be more people attending tomorrow but not sure how big this venue is and if all the priority people will even get in?
I echo what people are saying about being hungry afterward - eat a huge meal beforehand.
An amazing production. Never found myself interested in John Legend or Sara Bareilles but WOW they were incredible. There are so many beautiful visuals that I can't wait to see on camera. A stunning set. I also teared up multiple times.
I don't want to share any more details than that. Everyone who's either going or watching live tomorrow - you're in for a powerful evening.

Priority was guaranteed in today, but arrive around 4:25 for a better seat/pit spot :)
Tictac- bring food to the check-in location... you'll be waiting a long time (and can eat on line) but definitely cannot leave and come back. My general admission ticket said the check-in deadline was 3:30, but they let us upstairs at 2pm, and then we waited up there for a while (you either wait upstairs or outside depending on pit or seated tickets)... I think we got on the shuttles around 4?
Can anyone comment on how it was to be in the PIT. My concern is if have a jacket and small drawstring backpack....what am I expected to do with them while standing for 3 hours? I assume they don't want us holding our bags and/or wearing our coats. Was there a place to check bags and coats for those standing in the pit?
