My father (AIDS)
My sister (AIDS)
My uncle and my cousin and her best friend (AIDS, AIDS, AIDS)
The gays and the straights
And the white and the spades
Yeah, even when he's flaunting his physique in something like that Deadpool movie, it feels very hetero. He's not in a thong trying to twerk like what all the elderly bottoms his age do at the clubs I frequent.
Jay Lerner-Z said: "Why have people always been so convinced that Hugh Jackman is gay? A long-running joke, or do people really believe it?"
As an Australian I think I can answer this. Before Hugh went to the US to do the Boy from Oz I never heard any rumours about him being gay (and I heard plenty of others about closeted actors). It was only once he was playing Peter Allen, who was well known as being gay in Australia, that the rumours started in the US that he was gay. In fact I seem to remember Deborah-Lee commenting on that in an interview.
So blame American audiences who just assumed he was gay because he played Peter Allen.
Why is his sexuality being discussed in this thread, or even at all? Can we not just be happy that they seem to be happy together, and then wish them well?
