Well that's the last of the Gap commercials you will be seeing from Sarah Jessica Parker since her contract has not been renewed. The new Gap spokesperson will be Joss Stone. Ms. Parker is said to be less than impressed.

My favourites by far were from the Gap a few years ago with the West Side Story Ads

"Joss is not only a teenager, she's also a virtual unknown. Had her replacement been a big star, perhaps Sarah wouldn't have minded so much."
I knew behind that good girl persona was a bit of a diva. Go Parker! Demand that someone more famous replace you.
I LIVE FOR THE FAME/SHORTS COMMERCIAL PUT OUT BY OLD NAVY!!!
The choreography is sensational!!!
LOL
the i enjoy being a girl one reminds me of diamonds are a girls best friend from moulin rouge...just the style of it
I adore that commercial. We recently had a thread about musical songs being used as tv commercials. Before tv, broadway musical songs were often used as commercials on radio. Using music from Broadway to adverise products began, almost as soon as the birth of commercial television.
And dont' forget "I feel pretty" in those Aquafina commercials...
I don't think they should replace Sarah Jessica Parker... I don't really like the commercial, but Gap is my favorite store... and Sarah is known as a fashion icon... Joss Stone is known as a new music diva... I think Sarah would just be a better pick, I don't know why they would get rid of her
WISHIHADATONY... that was me that started that thread about the musical songs...hehe
