I'm visiting from Oct 2nd-5th and had planned to see Xanadu on Sun., but we all know what happened. I need another suggestion of a show I can see, but will allow me enough time to get back to my cousin's apartment and to the airport. My flight leaves at 8p.m. on Sunday. I was thinking Speed the Plow or maybe 39 steps, but I can't find a runtime for Speed the Plow. My show schedule is below, all help is much appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.
Thurs. - Spring Awakening Fri - Gypsy Sat - A:OC - mat Sat - Equus - evening Sun. - Hopefully something
There's no runtime for Speed-the-Plow because it hasn't started performances yet. But it will probably run a little over an hour -- 90 minutes max, I would say.
thanks, my partner wants All My Sons, Speed the Plow or 39 Steps. I'm just worried about making it to the airport in enough time. Is two hours enough time to get to JFK from 83rd if I'm taking a taxi? That kinda sounds like one of those train math questions, sry. Thanks again for any help or advice.
2 hours should be plenty of time, but never underestimate the Van Wyck.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Even with traffic you should make it to JFK in plenty of time. I've made it from there in forty minutes. I think given the time you have it should be "39 Steps" or "Speed The Plow". The running time for both shows are roughly an hour forty. Or just chill out and do brunch!! There are some great places right in your area. Sounds like you've got your share of theater-going already in.
[title of show] also has about a 90 minute run time, is fabulous, and is closing the next week. I recommend that.

Maybe it's just me and the YEARS of being stuck in traffic in the NYC area, but I'd take the subway and the Airtran. Nevertheless, here's an article that outlines your options for getting to JFK from NYC.
too bad you have to rush or I would say go see MARY POPPINS. It was one of the best surprises I have seen in a very long time.
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."
Just in case anyone was wondering, I decided on title of show. From what I have read, I can tell it will be worth it. Plus I got tickets on left orch row C. Thanks for all the help and suggestions.
Title of show is 90 minutes of pure non stop fun and laughter. It is a shame it is closing and youd be lucky to see it right before it leaves.
