Craig Bierko would make a wondeful Corny Collins- but that role should go to someone who's popular in the teenage world. Like Ryan Seacrest, or Carson Daly, etc, etc..

Frenchie Davis could pull of Motormouth, but I think Queen Latifah is a better choice for the movies. She has more experience.

I'd like to see Frenchie take a stab at Motormouth on Broadway, though.

Frenchie is way too young to play Motormouth. Queen Latifah is too young too. I'd suggest some of the one's Mary Bond Davis mentioned they were trying to get for the OBC before her. Loretta Divine, Jenifer Lewis, or Jennifer Hoiiday.

But then Kerry would not be in the film.
Kerry needs to be Penny. No one can replace her in that role.
