What would be your single dream nomination for the Tonys (presumably something you don't think will get the actual nomination on Tuesday)? And why?
I think mine would be SCOTTSBORO for Best Musical, over CATCH ME. Simply because I thought it was the most ambitious, risky, stunningly-well-staged piece of musical theater that New York has seen since SPRING AWAKENING.
My ultimate one is Joe Mantello (but that will probably happen). One that may or may not happen would be Tony Sheldon. One that is probably NOT going to happen would be Women on Verge for Best Musical.
Aaron Tveit for Best Actor in a Musical
Susan Stroman for Best Direction of a Musical.
Lee Pace, Featured actor, play.
CATCH ME for Best Musical over SISTER ACT, SCOTTSBORO or PRISCILLA.
Scottsboro and Bloody over Catch Me and Sister Act.

I'd also like a Sheldon nom for sure, and also Marla Mindelle for Sister Act.
Donna Murphy as best leading actress.
Women on the Verge for Best Musical over Catch Me or Sister Act.
VERGE/YAZBEK FOR BEST ORIGINAL SCORE!!!
Renee Elise Goldsberry for Best Featured Actress. An amazing performance that will likely be overshadowed by flashier competition.
Frank Wildhorn for the diverse WONDERLAND Original Score!
^SHOCKED!
Colin Donnell for Best Actor
Ben Walker for Best Actor in a Musical
Bloody, Bloody and Scottsboro Boys for Best Musical
Broadway Legend Joined: 9/20/08
Arian Moayed for Best Featured Actor.
Chorus Member Joined: 4/24/11
i'm picking four: Mark Rylance for Jerusalem, Elizabeth Rodriguez for Motherfuc*er with the Hat, Sutton Foster for Anything Goes and Nina Arianda for Born Yesterday.
Benjamin Walker
I would also really like to see Scottsboro Boys recognized on Tuesday! Best musical and direction especially
I'm not going to choose someone like Mantello, who will definitely be nominated. I'll go with a longshot...
Lee Pace, The Normal Heart
Raul Esparza for best actor (or featured actor) in a play. Just because the man needs a damn tony already
"The Scottsboro Boys" for Best Musical (and every other category for which it is eligible)
Baby it's You! over Book of Mormon for Best Musical
Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown for Best Musical.
Evan Jonigkeit for HIGH. I thought the kid was primal even if the writing blew.
