Good deals on stubhub seem too good to be true
Low demand, low prices. She hasn't missed a show in years and even if for some reason she was out tonight, it was not announced.

The show is not sold out, tends to be quieter from Tuesday-Wednesday. So there is no resale market.
Bernadette hasn’t missed a performance since GYPSY. I wonder if she is scarred by the negative press she received from her absences and now basically does anything she can to be on, even if she probably shouldn’t be for health reasons (though I guess Follies is the only show she has done since that you can’t talk through the songs and still do a good job).
What every one said above. For what its worth, could be that one broker was able to obtain lots of great tickets for tonight's performance when they first went on sale and it obviously turned out to be a bad call (look at the overflow of heavily discounted tickets for Disney's FROZEN -- the HAMILTON level of hysteria everyone was expecting didn't happen).
You can easily get a $39 ticket on Telecharge.
I must have missed them as all I see is $80 in the balcony.
***More seats are now showing.
Please, God, she's on tonight, I'm seeing it again! Just checked StubHub-all I see as the cheapest right now is $79.95 in the last row of the Balcony.

I've seen you reference her missing performances before, Qolbinau; as someone who wasn't paying attention to Broadway back then, what's the context here?
Some reporting on it:

Riedel's article is particularly brutal (they apparently recently made up). Anyway, if Bernadette cares about maintaining her reputation (and all evidence suggests she does in my opinion - she is always nice, she never really opens up and she spends a fortune looking pristine) there is no way she would want a repeat of what happened during Gypsy, unless she was basically on her death bed (and now there have been hundreds of performances of A Little Night Music, Follies DC, Follies NYC and Hello Dolly without missing). I don't think any other peer could say the same at moment in their recent history.
It's worth noting that BP only missed about eight or nine performances total (not counting her scheduled one-week vacation) during her entire yearlong run in GYPSY -- the majority of those performances just happened to be right around opening night. Riedel was already trying to sell the narrative that she was miscast and struggling so he pounced on them as proof to support his theory.

Thanks for these! I can understand why these would be scarring for her, especially Riedel's column. Seems like it was overblown, though; people get ill and you can't really control that. Makes me think it's why she isn't doing the stage door this time around. If you missed a stretch of another show and got all of this negative press (even nasty press), you might want to minimize your exposure to any risk of illness.
I remember reading or seeing an interview with her at the time (of Gyspy) where she attributed it to getting a manicure before the show opened and getting sick from someone at the place she got her nails done. then I had also heard people talk about her missing some performance for the Tony voters as an excuse why she didn't win the Tony that year.
He was brutal to Donna Murphy as well during wonderful town .
Well, Ms. Peters was there tonight, Tuesday! So, this thread was much ado about nothing! She was in fine voice and was lovely in the role. While I'm here, I do so miss Mr. David Hyde Pierce. Mr. Garber is fine but has none of the humor Pierce brought to this role that is usually kind of thankless. Mr. Fontana was fine as Cornelius. Nice voice and sweet but I miss Gavin Creel. Mr. Stemp is charming as Barnaby. Dancing goes without saying but I miss Taylor Trensch. Trensch has a unique comic flair that's missing now. Ms. Griggs is really finding her stride. She's very funny in the role of Minnie. Kate Baldwin is still perfect after all this time. Paging Jennifer Simard. If she was a bit over the top as Ernestina, I'll still take her over her replacement Alli Mauzey. I'm not familiar with Ms. Mauzey. Maybe she'll find the part later on but right now it looked like she was trying to do Simard's stuff but missed the mark. Nice to see so many old faces still in the Ensemble. The show still casts its spell on audiences.

It took you this long to sort that out?

I got 11th row dead center orchestra for $100. Obviously I had already bought them before you checked. She was on for the show. Was great. And are you ready for this? The person next to us waited til the last minute and got the ticket for $55.

Thank God. Another crisis narrowly averted!
As the thread is very open with its unqualified use of "tonight," can someone post every day whether she went on?
I wonder if she is scarred by the negative press she received from her absences and now basically does anything she can to be on
I highly doubt she is only ploughing on because of some bad press from 15 years ago that few people remember. What was her record like before Gypsy? Isn't it far more likely that those absences were an anomaly, she had good reason to be out, but now normal service has resumed? She's there every night because she loves her job and loves her audiences. That's all there is to it.
