The character is often portrayed as a floozie, but in Little Girls the line but Ill admit / no man has bit implies she may just be putting on a front and is actually inexperienced when it comes to men.
Thoughts?
I always assumed it referred to her old maid status, not her sexual experience.
I always took it no man has bit in a long time, but I also think the old maid status referenced above makes a lot of sense as well.
A close reading of the script reveals Miss Hannigan is most likely engaging in incredible, earth-shattering sex every second she isn’t onstage.
I don’t know the show that well but doesn’t she live with like 30 of her daughters?
A disguised Miss Hannigan seduced Daddy Warbucks in Annie 2 with the song "But You Go On" which included a sob story about her alcoholic ex-husband. The song is now sung by a different character in the revised Annie Warbucks. The ex could easily be dismissed as a fiction but if an actress wanted to add some pathos to her backstory she'd have the option of interpreting it as true.

It's like asking if Tarzan is a virgin. It doesn't scan with the character, but the alternative is so much stranger.

Of course he's a virgin. There are no other people around.
This thread is wild. I agree with dramamama. I think the line refers back to the previous one about a man nibbling on her ear but also like a fish taking the bait... so some kind of commitment.

Let's just say her nickname down at the pool hall is Miss Handsagain, so I'm guessing not.
This entire thread is hilarious. I played Miss H in when I was in Middle School, so here’s my “Not Very Expert At All” opinion: she’s had SOME experience, but not nearly enough for her liking. Mr. Bundles, the Laundry guy, just isn’t doing it for her (I think even when he’s not outright hooking up with her, as in the 1982 film, he’s somewhat interested- he flirts with her a little in Annie Jr and the 1999 film and she shoots him down both times). I think she was hoping for something mind blowing and her mind has yet to be blown. If only we could get Dorothy Loudon’s take on this...
Unfortunately, the person asking about Tarzan was implying perhaps he slept with a monkey.
He spent 20 years thinking he was a monkey... he at least TRIED.
