i remember reading about his facebook and people adding him/msging or whatever... i tried to and i see his number of friends is actually going down and not up... do you think he isn't adding fans anymore?
He has a special one for fans and one for his personal stuff.

I did that CATS, but I'm still not getting that Gavin Creel Community Page that Jazzy was showing. Jazzy, how do I get there??
I'm confused. So he has a FB, private FB, and a fan page?
Here you go, Leia. You should still be able to add him to your favorites with the link at the top of the page.

Yes....when you make a "fan page" I'm pretty sure you can have unlimited friends, but not so on a regular page.
When Gavin switched over, he asked everyone to go to the new one as he would be discontinuing the original...but he never did. I still get updates from both.
MANY performers have a public and a private page. Do you think they really want us to know everything. Like....going to Starbucks on 97th; Great date with "bob" last night. Gavin uses his to promote his show, and to highlight his work on social issues.
I'm sure you know that there is always an invite to add one of your friends friends to your list. For the longest time, my "suggestion" has been to add Gavin's mom, Nancy. Makes me smile. I almost want to, just to tell her how lovely her son is...but since she sees his FB....I think she already knows! And I think his song, "For Nancy" is incredibly heartbreaking and personal.

Aww, Leia needed help and I wasn't there to give it to her . Just go to your profile, click on 'Gavin Creel' under 'Favorite Performers' and you'll be there.

Leia, I just noticed your signature
Anyway, on this day 40 years ago...we landed on the moon, so listen to 'Rocket Ride' and think about Apollo 11!

Umm... that's definitely NOT what I'm thinking about when I hear that song! LMAO
And you're welcome Jazzy!
But yes, I've spent the day checking out fun historical things related to Apollo.... funny.... 40 years ago was Apollo and 40 years ago was Woodstock....
"funny.... 40 years ago was Apollo and 40 years ago was Woodstock...."
That's always what I considered one of the coolest thing about the 60s: how it was simultaneously really campy and chaotic. Like Star Trek was on while Hair was being written. I love the dichotomy.

It may sound silly, but I alway wish I had lived through the 60s rather than the 80s :-/ I feel like I missed out on a much more epic decade. I would have died to go to Woodstock.
But, now you get to go to the movie! And with Jonathan Groff. Not the worst of trade offs.
AND Dan Fogler. and I read in the Daily News that Will Swenson and Darius Nichols had parts in the movie too.So there's always that.
And I've always wanted to live through the 60s. 90s/2000s are lame.
