Will this only be Platt and Fey? What about WJP and the other leads from this? If it’s a whole new producing team, then I wonder if Danya will still direct…

I may be wrong but I think it is pretty rare that the Broadway director with no film experience gets to direct the movie.  Heck, the great Peter Hall directed both Equus and Amadeus to huge hit status on Broadway, but was never offered a chance to do either film.

Honestly in terms of directors, I hope they get a female auteur to direct it. I’m hoping Sofia Coppola

I don’t know. Yes, it got great reviews and I enjoyed it overall, but it’s also predictable and unrealistic. I wish them well, and I’ll see it, but I wonder how it’ll translate to screen.
