NOPE !
Then again - I wouldn't like to see anyone else re-do that either.
Some things should be left as they are. Breakfast at Tiffany's is one of those.

Wow - she can be made up to look like a youngish Streisand.
What the hell does that have to do with portraying Fanny Brice?

Posted: 8/5/10 at 1:53pmWhy does everyone keep asking what the point of the spread is? None of you have ever seen a photo spread where a current celebrity is made up as an homage to older stars/movies/etc? This is your first time encountering this phenomenon?

Thank you Phyllis!
She didn't do this photo spread to try to convince producers she should be cast in FUNNY GIRL on Broadway (IMO)

Catalano...
Jane Fonda did not have only one or two good roles prior to her 15yr break. I would not call anyone a major talent based on one role, esp. when everything they do afterward is mediocre. I saw Friends With Money and don't recall anything (by Aniston or anyone else in the cast) particularly moving let alone Oscar-worthy. I don't know what was so "surprisingly honest" about The Breakup -- that they actually broke up, which is rare in Hollywood movies?

A major talent? The Good Girl was nearly 10 years ago. She's made tons of movies since then...what great talent have we seen in them? Yeah, she can play the girlfriend, or recovering-from-heartbreak, or sparring with loved ones. We saw her do that for years on Friends. Jennifer Aniston, like the entire Friends cast, is limited. All of them were totally right for their Friends roles, and their chemistry and perfs were good. But none of them has proved they're actually all-around great actors. Please do not say Opposite of Sex, either. That's like constantly referring to Good Girl for Aniston. One good performance doesn't make you a major talent. Courtney Love was very good in The People Vs. Larry Flynt. Is she a major acting talent????
If you won't count The Opposite of Sex for Lisa Kudrow, how about The Comeback? It was short-lived, but it offered more than enough proof that Kudrow is a gifted (and versatile) actress. As for Aniston, she hasn't really surprised me with anything she's done lately in terms of great roles, but I still think she is rather talented. Saying that one great performance isn't enough to measure a person's talent is just silly. Are you saying all those people who won (or were nominated for) an Oscar, yet didn't do much either before or after, are lacking in any talent? She may be new on the scene, but (for instance) Gabourey Sidibe needn't do much more in the arenas of acting than she has already done to convince me of her abilities. There are actors and actresses out there who work on a plethora of movies and shows, yet never once make something of actual worth. Even if Aniston has only done one of these (beyond that is debatable, but not the point) isn't that still something remarkable? Where's Joey's great contribution to the world of cinema? Ross'?

I asked: Why aren't there any HELLO, DOLLY pictures? Its Barbra's best movie, best known movie and best performance. Harper's Bazaar has always hated Barbra that is why they used Aniston.. with her so-called "perfect" nose.
They are making a dig at the real "perfection" that is Barbra.

Kneel, I would beg to differ that "Funny Girl" is Barbra best known role.
As for Jennifer, I love her. She is absolutely gorgeous and talented.

Kneel, are you for real? I mean, I've read several of your posts and each one makes me go..."huh?!?"
How in gay hell does Harpers Bazaar hate Streisand by creating a beautiful photo spread honoring her?
EDIT: Kneel, after reading your posting about BURLESQUE, I know you're just a puppet trying to be funny. Nevermind, continue posting stupid shlt because you think you're hilarious.

I think people aren't realizing that while Harper's is a fashion magazine it is really known for being more "arty" than something like Elle or Cosmo. They're known for having beautiful photographs in their magazines. They got for art and glamor over quick sell.
Earlier this week I was watching Rachel Zoe's show on Bravo (it was on after Life on the D List) and her task for the episode was a Harper's photo shoot with Demi Moore. One of the set ups was Demi posing with a giraffe. What was the point of that? None really. But it sure made for a beautiful photo.

Posted: 8/8/10 at 2:09amDoes anyone know if this is released yet? And I always said Jennifer Aniston reminded me of Barbra. Do you think she could ever do a bio-pick of Barbra? Mind you, the film would be approved by Barbra first.
