I see she's still going to Giuliani's hairdresser.
Why, God, why?

After the show, I asked Derrick Baskin what it was like being on stage with Julie Andrews. He just kept saying "Oh my god! Her head was right here, in my chest! Oh my god!"
The other actors seemed to echo this sentiment.

Yeah, it's pretty awful. A wig would be better. And, I just remembered you don't have sound at work.

Wow. Well, Julie's talent shouldn't amaze me so; I shouldn't expect anything less. I totally thought she accidentally messed up, and her reaction was priceless. Superb acting, I didn't think it was acting.
ETA: Anakela, that's not exactly what I meant. I'm sorry you were stuck behind talkers. What I meant during the show wasn't exactly talking while they are or during the songs, but you know, we did a lot of applauding everytime someone got a work right, or as they introduced people, etc, and I often heard kids say something while that was going on, so that's more what I meant.

"The only real time was a huge wrapper noise during the I Love You Song."
No surprises there. It's a boring song.

Posted: 2/1/07 at 10:12amI also would like to add that one of the many highlights for me was seeing Julie Andrew's face during "My Unfortuante Erection" especially during the first chorus when she covered her face with her hand! That was worth the price of the ticket alone!
