I just got home from seeing the Movie Juno and I thought it was a Great film. Music plays a somewhat big roll in the movie and so does hamburger phones so i was just wondering what your ideas are for it?
I thought there should DEFINITLY be a song called The Tic-Tac Fruity
Oh Dear God, No...
I'm with dramarama on this one. I was disturbed enough at the pre-teen and young teen girls oohing and aww-ing over how "cute" and "cool" Jun being pregnant and having a baby was. I even heard a few of them saying "That doesn't look so bad, being pregnant. Why does everyone think it's so bad if you have a baby?"
NO!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh pleeeeease! Stop this one now!

Not to mention, for some reason, all I could hear was "AAAAAAW!" from every teen girl in the audience whenever Michael Cera opened his mouth.
If I hear one more "What if ____ were a musical?!" suggestion...

great movie, so hows about we try not to ruin its memory with a crappy musical adaption!

This may be a news flash for some, but every good movie does not have to become a sh*tty musical.

Some song ideas:
Pregnant, Fo'rizzle
The Sea Monkey
Mac and Cheese (Love Duet)
Pork Sausage
Oh God.
The shows starts with Juno's plaintive ballad "Keeping It Real."
But would the new Juno have a dancing kitty?
omgonlyifLeaMicheleisJuno!
Seriously, I didn't even like the movie.

Haven't seen it yet.
Yeah, yeah, we need "Juno" the musical, as much as we need "Norbit" the Musical.
But I actually did like the film, and am in no way comparing it to the awful Norbit.

No.
And what does the hamburger phone have anything to do with bringing it to Broadway anyway?
SweetQ -- Broadway has obviously been missing out on a big number like "Can You Repeat That, I Need To Shake My Hamburger Phone"
no. no. no. no. no. no. no. no. no. no. no. no. no. NO.
Seriously just because half of the shows currently and recently on broadway are based off of movies does not mean that every movie needs to become a broadway show.
NO. Just because a movie is good, gets critical acclaim, etc, does NOT mean it should be made into a musical

Thanks, CyCoSpAz2. I actually prefer hotdogs so maybe they can make a hotdog song to go along with the hamburger.
Yeah. With Kristin Chenoweth as the girl.
Please.
Not every film needs to be a musical.
And JUNO is a good not great film. It is pretty much a retread of GHOST WORLD and SAVED!. The best perf in the film belongs to the underrated Alison Janney.
Next new musical to come, Animal House The Musical
"Let's have a toga party, nail some chicks. Drink and party and suck on dicks. We won't have time for flicks you get your fix on getting laid. At a toga party!
That piece of doggerel may get you booted.
Oh I forgot, there needs to be a Convenience Store Clerk's Rap!
I haven't seen the movie yet, but if it doesn't have anything where eyes can be put on hats or there isn't a donkey or it can't be mistaken for Ice Capades, it'll have some trouble getting anyone interested.
No judgments, just observations . . .
