Where does one find the schedule to know an actor's vacation times and when understudies will be going on? I was at the stage door yesterday and Miguel did mention those dates you did. Colleen Fitzpatrick also said she would be taking over as Kim for a whole week in August, but I forgot the week. I haven't seen her, and I'd really be interested in seeing her take on the character. I've read a lot of positive reviews online about her.
And does anyone know how long Steven Boyer's paternity leave will be? The very nice lady I spoke with (she even arranged for Miguel, Alex, A.J. and Colleen to come out and sign my program) didn't know.
Colleen Fitzpatrick will be on for Kimberly from August 15-20.

Usually understudies don't know in advance. However, sometimes the lead announces their vacation times, so you know you'll get an understudy. Otherwise enjoy whoever plays the role when you see the show! :)
FYI, Bonnie Milligan will be on vacation from July 17-23.

Just curious, where are these schedules posted?
I typically check the Broadway Covers Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Thank you! Those accounts look like they're helpful. However, it also looks like they sometimes don’t announce replacements until later in the day. (I see that recently KA replacements were being announced the past few days on a per-day basis at various times, sometimes as late as 3 pm.)
It sounds like Justin’s recent absence was preplanned. Do you know where that announcement was made? (I’m thinking of going tonight and just want to verify that he’s expected to be there, since I’ve already seen it once with Miguel — who was very good, but I’d also like to see it with Justin).

Thanks for the info! We did go, and the show was fantastic! I don’t think I’ve ever done a repeat viewing of a show so soon after my first visit (we went for the first time two days ago), but it was totally worth it!!
I was afraid it might be boring to see it again so soon, but the evening flew by. Justin was amazing, as was the entire cast, and the show was just as exhilarating the second time around. The whole audience was buzzing as they filed out; it felt like everyone left the theater happier then when they arrived. What an incredible musical!
I’m so glad that I caught Victoria and Justin performing at the Tonys, because I knew virtually nothing about Kimberly Akimbo before then. I’m also glad that United canceled my flight home today, or it wouldn’t have worked out for us to see the show a second time. If I lived in NY, I’d go back even more times before this amazing cast departs for other projects.
Victoria will be cutting back on her performance schedule soon — no indication on what days she will have off yet.
Also, Mateo Lizcano has just joined the cast as a vacation swing.

Who was the vacation cover for Clark when either her or Colleen were out on vacation? Can't remember her name and I've wondered if she's being brought back due to Clark reducing her schedule.

I think it was Valerie Wright.

Nothing is showing in Playbill and Valerie's not credited

When does Clark reduce her schedule? Which performances will she take off. Planning to go next month and want to catch her. Thanks.

It's already happening. There's no set schedule for Clark. Colleen was on for both shows yesterday.
FYI, Playbill does have Valerie Wright credited for being the Kimberly standby if you search her name. She's done a total of four weeks(twice for Clark and twice for Colleen).

We saw it May '23 so that's why her name is not in Playbill. Also, not showing in Playbill vault just checked. Where are you seeing?

Yea the thing is it only when you search her name in playbill but it does not show under Playbill crediting her for some reason.

Valerie Wright is only a replacement standby for when either Victoria or Colleen can not perform. This is why she isn’t in the Playbill aside from an insert announcement.
Here are the dates she filled in for so far:
Dec 13, 2022 - Dec 17, 2022
Mar 7, 2023 - Mar 12, 2023
Aug 15, 2023 - Aug 20, 2023
Oct 17, 2023 - Oct 22, 2023

Playbill Vault tends to not list vacation swings/standbys in its history. One of the glitches in the site.

I revisited this show a few night away, it is in such great shape.
Just wonderful.
Am I missing it, or is there no way to know the schedule that Victoria Clark is performing now? I'd love to return and bring someone who hasn't see it with her performing, even though I'm sure the standbys are very good.

When Clark first made the announcement of her schedule change via Instagram, she recommended asking the box office if she's going to appear in that day's performance. It sounds like her performance schedule is now on a unique day-by-day basis. While I'm not sure if she's been following any specific pattern thus far, it might be best to buy day-of tickets with your friend to confirm Clark will be present.
