Who other than Kathy would tirelessly campaign and promote this hosting honor than the queen of media 'whoring'??

And... SHE'S funny!

I think she'd breathe much new life into an incredibly STALE awards show that is truly the highlight of something we all love...

People would bitch about the Tony host if Richard Rodgers himself rose from the dead to do the deed.

Personally, I see them trying to get Robin Williams, Chris Rock, Whoopi, or Bette Midler to host this year. They all have Broadway ties this year.

Robin Williams or Chris Rock would be fabulous.

NOT Kathy Griffen. Her sense of humor is 98% demeaning other people, which at a major awards show that's supposed to be applauding the accomplishments of theatre people, is just not appropriate.

Personally, I'd adore Robin Williams if he did it. He's just manic enough, he can sing if needed, and he's actually been in a running Bway show this season, not just an 8 night special engagement.

Kathy Griffin would draw in much larger numbers then in past years. Yes Robin Williams is also an excellent choice, but he also must say he would do it.
