Not sure if someone already made a board about this show.
I am trying to buy tickets for Kiss of the Spider-woman at the Kennedy Center in DC. I am looking at their website and having no luck. If there is another website to buy tickets please let me know! Thank you in advance.
I just need one ticket.
I might be mistaken but I don’t think single tickets are on sale yet. I believe it’s still by subscription only.
When I looked the other day, it said member tickets were on sale next Tuesday 2/7, with the general sale next Thursday 2/9, but I don't see that info on the website anymore.
I was honestly surprised this was still on. I was hearing key folks didn't want this production to happen, as they had their own plans. But who knows, things change.
Well I’ve already got my tickets to it so they’d better still be doing it.

Does that mean Tom Kirdahy, controller of the McNally estate who seems to be the exclusive producer of Terrence's work now?
Any scuttlebut about who is in it? I am thinking Aurora might not be cast yet otherwise might have announced prior to SUNSET's run?

Yeah I saw that too. I wonder what happened to that message. Hopefully, they are going to have a public sale soon!

Looking at the show's dedicated page on the Kennedy Center website https://www.kennedy-center.org/whats-on/explore-by-genre/theater/2022-2023/kiss-spider-woman/ it's curious that no dates are displayed for the show, even though the initial press release indicates May 15-21. And if you search "Broadway Center Stage" on the site, it shows 6 upcoming musicals, but not Kiss. I'm a member, and the last email I received about member pre-sales for February 7 did not mention Kiss.

Damn, this better still be happening.
Broadway revivals of the piece have been rumored for years and never come to fruition. This would be the perfect the chance to see a quality production of the musical.
I had heard rumors of a conflict with the McNally estate… except there are subscribers that have been able to secure their tickets. Interested to see what happens with this one.

I emailed the box office at the Kennedy Center. This was their response:
Thank you for your inquiry. The on-sale dates for BCS: Kiss of the Spider Woman have been postponed. At this time, we do not have further information about the new on-sale dates.
Not looking good. If this is really stopped, it better be due to a Broadway revival.
I heard the writers truly didn't know it was happening until it was announced. That shocked me, but I guess they were shocked, too.
Don't know if there are definitive plans, but that doesn't mean there aren't.

I would love to see a proper revival of this. People have been tossing Ariana DeBose's name around forever, and she'd be a fantastic Aurora. Mason Alexander Park has done some wonderful covers of a couple of Molina's songs and, even though they're a bit young now, I think they'd also be an interesting choice.

As of now, the website’s page has been updated. It now so this on their website:

I guess it is still happening! I am really looking forward to seeing this one.

As the original announcement said May 15-21, this means they've added three evening performances over a weekend. Looks like this mystery might turn out to be a good sign after all. The change would make me happy, as I'll be out of town for all of the original dates, and now could have a chance to catch the show.

Lol RIP my Ragtime 2020 reunion concert tickets (which I can no longer use in 2023 because I am not in town...)
The May 12-21 dates are listed on the site again, but now it says "Ticket On Sale Date To Be Announced."

Ticket On Sale Date To Be Announced
I had heard the 3 Leads were cast around a week ago from a reliable industtry source so maybe a casting issue is causing the last minute delay?
Great news! Happy to have been wrong.

I asked at the box office tonight when I was there for Sunset Boulevard. They said subscription tickets are going on sale tomorrow (2/7) and general tickets are going on sale 2/21.

That’s just what the person at the BO said. Maybe you have to call for subscriptions? Or maybe they had the wrong info?
Any rumors on the casting?

Hm, my friend and I have had subscription tickets for months, so I'm not sure how that makes sense.
