For the Laura Bell Bundy fans on this board, myself included, here's a nice interview with her on Broadway.com
Haha, that's really cool Brittany Snow and her did "Guiding Light" on TV together! Yeah...the two Ambers...pretty cool.
Anyways, enjoy! It's a good read, and has a lot of stuff about her new cd. Yeah :)

Yeah, I just wanted to chime in and say I love how honest she is, and yeah, about the whole Britney thing, she could've easily said "Britney has messed up her life", and bla bla bla, but I liked how she defended her and said how everyone makes mistakes.
Yeah, as dancing said, it was very classy of her :)

Why do you say tht JP2? is it because of Bundy's need to get whatever she wants when she wants it?

They always ask her about it.
I've noticed that in alot of the interviews with Laura.
It's like "Oh yeah, great job in LEGALLY BLONDE, but what was Britney like as a child!"
It's really rude.

Posted: 8/14/07 at 12:03pmShe's not my favorite performer, but I have a lot of respect for her for one reason. She puts the stage first. She said she turned down tv pilots for Legally Blonde. Wanting to do tv and film is fine, but I think it's nice when there's finally a performer who really and truly just wants to be on the stage. Thanks, Laura Bell.

The interviewer who does the Broadway.com Q&A ALWAYS asks stupid and/or inappropriate questions. This is the same person who asked Debra Monk the dish on the GREY'S ANATOMY set when the Isaiah Washington/T.R Knight issue developed. Same person who kept telling Christine Ebersole to say she was going to win the Tony over and over even when she clearly was uncomfortable claiming herself the winner before the awards.
I think Bundy is as bland as they come and pretty arrogant but she handled the interview quite well.
Honestly, after Ken Mandelbaum's departure there's no reason to visit Broadway.com.

Posted: 8/14/07 at 9:17pmActually, this is the first time she hasn't made somewhat of a dig at Spears'. If you ask me, she's becoming more well known for who her understudies were 100 years ago than her own work. If she was smart, she wouldn't even allow that question anymore. It was pretty boring and sort of paint by numbers. If the porn shop and meet strangers in bars moment was supposed to be interesting, it wasn't.

I thought it was a nice interview.
lizzy, may I ask why you lost respect for her from the interview? Because she goes into porn shops? Well, fyi, people go into porn shops! I know, hard to believe. I don't really see why that would make you lose respect for her.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

My goodness, becoz, Ashley Brown would NEVER go into a porn shop, shes too practically perfect! She is so practically perfect, she would never even think of doing a Broadway Bares act with that horrible Laura Bell Bundy!
