I don't know how she got sick in the first place. Her role isn't exactly vocally demanding. I'm just wondering. I'm not dissing her or the show. I think they're both great. I should know. I saw Laura in Into the Woods.

ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."
What FOA said. Her sickness was in relation to things past and some new things as well - NOTHING to do with her voice. However, it wound up affecting her voice in the end.

Foster-- I'd really love to take you one day to meet Laura, so that you can eat your words. And what's really sad here is that I didn't say anything except that Laura told me the same thing. How old are you? 26 or 27? Or older? Grow up. You sound like a f*ckin infant.
For the record, I'm 25. What words would you like me to eat exactly? I didn't say a negative word about Benanti. I was simply pointing out your history of uncredible information. Must we really go back to the threads where you went frighteningly on and on about little friend-to-friend secrets that we "shouldn't know, but you're going to tell us anyway"? Please.

They weren't secrets. And the private information was something I never have and STILL have not posted about. They were details about her illness and I repeatedly said it was not my private information to tell. Laura asked me to post a note regarding her absences, and I did. Then people asked me how I knew her, and I explained. Your "BFF" comments were unncessary, as my relationship with Laura is all fact, whether you want to accept that or not. Quite a few people on these boards have been witness to my relationship with her - whether or not you want to believe them is your choice.
Also, can you name a specific example as to when I've been unreliable?
1. Laura asked me to post a note about her absences. A week later, the news about her medical leave was announced. Coincidence? Doubt it.
2. I'm confirming the fact that she's back on October 3rd. So are other people. So, since I'm agreeing with them, that makes me wrong, or uncredible? How?
I had some people today at the flea market come up to me about this situation and tell me that they find it admirable how much I support my friend.
Now, if you want to talk about fandom and me just being a "fan"... think about this: I had practically no idea who Laura was until I was introduced to her through a friend. I'd seen her in ITW when I was younger, but don't really have much of a recollection of it. So, really, how can that be fandom?
Laura has been through MANY rough changes in her life in the past few years. She needs, just as any human being does - celebrity or not - love and support from her friends and her family. I am simply being a friend.
I shouldn't feel the need to defend her or me anymore. And for a while, I didn't. But now, I'm, frankly, a little sick of this bullsh*t. It's unnecessary. It's childish. And each time you call me frightening, or immature, or whatever... you need to look in the mirror and see how many times you go around these boards teasing people, picking arguments, and making yourself out to be a very childish person.
Now? I'm going to bow out. My uncredible informaton is most likely going to prove itself true. I've known for a while about her return but wasn't sure if it was public knwoledge or not. Also -- I didn't really feel like starting another thread after the horror show the last one turned into.
Laura's asked me to bow out of this unfair treatment towards her and myself. These boards aren't healthy for anyone. It is full of immaturity and people who really need to find better things to do with themselves than sit around insulting people who they really know nothing about.
For a 25 year old, I suggest you grow up.
And everyone else who has supported her (and befriended me through that), I thank you and hope that you continue to do so as Laura's life slowly returns to normalcy.
Thanks! -Steven McCasland

Megan-And what about that wierd purple thing on happy meals
Me-Grimmace or whatever the heck his name is.
Megan-Yeah
Me-What is he supposed to be anyways?
Megan- I dont know I always thought he was Ronald McDonald's big stupid purple pet or the Hamburgler's hairball
is there a reason why these boards can never be positive? i am really getting sick of all this bull****. if u cant say anything nice then dont post it. simple as that.
lauras better and shes coming back and thats a fact! end of discussion
Yes, Tina is doing a kick ass job and is getting excellent press. I am not surprised, she is truly a professional. The cast loves her and so do the producers. Look, she even did Macy's (check out youtube.com), Seth's Chatterbox and today's BCEFA Celebrity Table. If that doesn't tell you the producers love her, I don't know what else does.
The girl with golden hair is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm just sayin'...

I am happy to hear that Ms. Benanti is recovering from her illness and wish her well.
I enjoyed her performance in Wedding Singer very much, particularly her "Come Out of the Dumpster" song, which was my favorite part of the show. Updated On: 9/24/06 at 09:03 PM

I wasn't. I was actually adding to The Stars R Aligned's comments.

Honestly, iluv, your constant screaming about exactly how much you see/talk to Ms. Benanti and exactly how close you are, and what you know about her issues is having the opposite of your desired effect.
You need to care more about her than about what strangers think of the fact that you are friends with her.

I would like to think that people would realize that they could be sick or suffering like Laura themselves one day and would appreciate kind words and support during that time.
And that they would be happy to see a welcome hand when they are able to return.
