Grrrr....
I think that they are just scared of Boston critics and are scared we'll halt the road to Broadway...

I hear ya, Princeton. This angers me, I was looking forward to this!
I hope the entire show isn't turned inside out/upside down/ruined. It doesn't need a complete overhaul, and I get the feeling that that's what is going to happen.
Sorry, Boston. It's a good show.
La Boheme and Wicked were the first two to have such huge pre-Broadway tryouts. I think you're right (and so is he). I guess Mamma Mia counts, too.
I can't wait to give my "intellectual" feedback on the no doubt "intellectual" Lestat: The Musical.
I hope they don't jukeboxify "Lennon" in an attempt to sell more tickets, because I think that would be death on Broadway. Very mixed signals about this show are coming from everywhere. Here's hoping for the best.
yes! I cannot wait for LESTAT!! Oh that sucks, they aren't turning on the marquis lights for the ORPHEUM, I have never been there...but I think it's essential for a theater.
Who the heck are they asking for intellectual feedback?? They certainly didn't ask me!
Orpheum is a great theater, but I didn't notice the marquis lights being off.
I hope they won't end the run early. I'm planning to go to the 2nd or 3rd to the last performance again!
Ticket sales are skyrocketing??? Ugh...this means I have to go like three hours early to line up for the pit tickets then.
It is...somewhat annoying to know that the show I'm seeing may be completely different when it runs on Broadway. It's like not really seeing the show. "Oh I saw it...but that was before they added a giant beatle in the middle of the stage to symoblize the importance of the band...so I really didn't see it."

Seattle is also becoming a big pre-Broadway tryout city, what with Hairspray, Light in the Piazza, Princesses and The Wedding Singer (and rumors of Young Frankenstein), that's a lot of big shows premiering here first.
I wish the producers would give a statement as to why they've skipped Boston.

Dear Everyone in Boston,
I'm sorry Lennon got cancelled. I'm also sorry about Sweet Charity. I'll stop buying tickets to see shows out by you, so they can stop getting fcuked up.
