5 people won, getting 2 tickets each. They also had a cancellation line, which I believe they said will vary during previews cuz it’s unused production seats, not really cancellation.

Thanks! Now let's just hope it stays this way until October 12th haha

I guess "winnable" depends on what your impresssion of the odds are. Sounds like it will remain 10 tickets every night, so essentially 5 winners if everyone takes 2 tickets like they did today. I would say there were at least 100 people who entered today on the first night. If the numbers presumably keep growing, I would say those odds go from a "winnable" 5% to far less.
Can anyone who’s been there recently say how many people were there for the lottery? I’m curious to see how winnable this is.
Also 2 slightly off topic things but, does anyone know for lotteries in general if they accept card/cash only? Does it depend on the box office? Had an issue 2 years ago when I won the Book of Mormon lottery using a card, but I don’t know if that was just bad luck. Also I posted this to the buy/sell board but if anyone has a ticket for 10/11 10/12 I’m in the market, so PM me if you’re looking to sell.

Most of the lotteries are now online so card is the only option. Little Shop is cash only though, at least it’s what they said on the first day of the lottery.

It's cash only, consistently only 10 tickets available every show (so mostly 5 winners each time, unless someone only wants 1 ticket). Numbers of entrants have been pretty varied, but nothing crazy.

We tried the lottery on Sat (10/12), but didn't win. There were maybe 80 people? Hard to count. 10 tickets handed out - remember it's CASH ONLY. I'd say it's worth it, as someone has to win, but go with the assumption that you won't win.
Anyone know if the matinee rushes are a bit better? Considering trying my shot tomorrow, but feel like I’ll just end up in the cancellation line paying full price.

On Saturday I talked to one of the people who oversees the lottery process, and she recommended a Wednesday matinee as your best shot. Don’t know what turnout is like exactly, but she seemed optimistic about it.

Awesome, thank you Holle! I’ll go tomorrow and report back my findings.
Tried for lottery today, Wednesday matinee, last preview. There were about 35 people and 15 people won. I did not win but was first in line for cancellation, got a $99 ticket for Orchestra row J.
FYI they said there is no lottery tonight or tomorrow as the show is opening.
Glad you got in! Also going to be at the matinee! Is there a show tonight? I heard them saying no lotto for tonight but it sounded like there was a show.. thought maybe they were doing a double opening or something?

Thanks! Yeah I think they said it’s a double opening. Show tonight but no lottery.
Just to confirm: the lottery continues post-opening, correct? It wasn't just during previews? And is it still not at the theater but down the block somewhere? Thanks.
