Telecharge definitely just changed it. I also looked and it had all rows listed. Row K being the last.
Hmmmmmm....People start talking and quickly things change. I think Theatreguy hit the nail on the head with this one.
Ney Yorker ... Read the OP again!
And when it says:
"The credits for this production have not yet been completed or verified.
Motherf**cker with the Hat
Pre-opening information; subject to change."
it doesn't count as proof.

Well, there goes the other show I wanted to see this season...
No great loss.
Well, I don't think this show was aiming toward old folks like you Roxy.
Evidently a cast member at the new Disney Store in Times Square overheard one of the producers for BBAJ mentioning that she received an e-mail this morning with notice that the show more than likely would be closing in January due to poor advance ticket sales. There was an event today at the store for the release of the EPIC MICKEY video game, with celebrities in attendance including Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey (That's So Raven), so it makes sense that a producer might be there.
It'd be a real shame if it closed. I saw the pre-Bway production, and it was damn good.
I can't believe it's lasted this long. I know about five people who talked out of this show (including myself). My high school students write more creatively.

I just saw this show last Wednesday and I absolutely adore it. I'll be unreasonably upset if it closes so soon, especially since I was really hoping to get to see it again.
frankiec, do you mean 'walked out'?

Here's hoping it holds out until January 16th...
The cast was told they're closing on January 2nd, so sorry to those of you who hoped it'd last a few weeks after the new year. And sorry I can't link you to anything, but this comes from a very, very, very reliable source related to the show itself.
This is very puzzling to me. Their weekly nut can't be THAT high? And they've been making upwards of 400,000 a week?
I can't find the article, but Jeffrey Richards (the producer) told the New York Times in late October that they had yet to cover their weekly expenses, but was confident they would begin doing so soon. At that point their highest-grossing week had been $388,676. The only time they've made more than that was last week which means out of 10 weeks on Broadway so far they've only managed to break even on 1 of them (assuming last week's gross covered their expenses).
I thought this was one of the worst shows that i've ever seen. Anyway, I'm not too shocked that it will close prematurely.

I'm a big fan of the show, but I can't say this is overly shocking to me. It just wasn't a show that was meant to be on Broadway.
shocked
1. There is no proof (yet) that this is closing.
2. For this to succeed on bway was a long shot.
The ageism that runs on this board is disgusting. I'm "old" and I adored BBAJ, Roxy's age has little to do with what he likes or dislikes. And really, aside from children's theater, shows should be accessible to all audiences.
Nadia Quinn, the hilarious redhead in the show, posted this on her Twitter overnight: "Found out tonight that our show is closing January 2nd. What an amazing, wonderful ride. Blessed and happy to be where I am. :)"
Sad. I'm not surprised by any means, but it's still a bummer.
Well, that was quick. Sad to see it go but, God help me, it was a damn boring night of theatre.
It looks like she removed that tweet.

Good grief...My choices for my January trip and my daughter's Kids Night trip just took another hit.
Unless Pee-Wee adds a week, it looks like I'll be saying goodbye to old friends (N2N & ALNM) and heading off-Broadway (The Divine Sister) in January.
My daughter's prime choice at the moment is "Million Dollar Quartet" (Johnny Cash obsessed), but that's not exactly on firm financial footing either. Anything else that interests her she's already seen.

I'm especially disappointed now that this is the second show I won't make it in time to see. i learned my lesson about going so late in January, I guess.
Yes, WALKED out. Sorry!
