Seconding this! Also (in a spoiler box), I'd love to know what the chandelier looks like? Similar to the original, more like the new production, or totally new?

Co-signing on this. Behind a spoiler tag, of course, I want a minute-by-minute, step-by-step, for anyone willing to be our hero. For this price tag, I need to know a lot more before going in.

Not sure why they made the cast swear to maintain secrecy earlier on, but now they've released the names of everyone playing the principal roles. There are some "interesting" casting decisions.

They may have wanted it to be a secret, but screenshots of the cast list were all over social media and Reddit yesterday, so they probably figured they should get ahead of it and make it official.

Yes - kind of odd that Jeremy Stolle is NOT one of the Phantoms after doing those publicity stunts (and playing the role countless times). Former touring Phantom Cooper Grodin is also just in the ensemble - maybe understudying? Also, I hope they aren’t having the older Phantoms paired with Anna Zavelson who I don’t think is even old enough to drink…

Oh this seems messy. Good thing I passed on it. Just stage the show again on Broadway. Next

I read the (very detailed) description on Reddit. As a lifelong “phan” I think it sounds amazing.

so seeing Madame Giry finally gets a solo of Learn To Be Lonely makes me very happy, and now I wish they would give the Phantom the cut song No One Would Listen from the film(which is just learn to be lonely with different lyrics) so basically would act as reprise and give more insight to his character as well.

Has there been an announcement of when the next block of tickets are going to go on sale into November? The other day the calendar only went up to Oct 19. And now the ticketing site shows Sold Out through November. I didn't get any announcements for new ticket sales in the last 2 days. Can anyone please explain?

I also noticed the website shows dates after Oct 19 as “sold out.” Those dates have not been sold yet; maybe the site is being prepared for the next extension.

I wonder what the deal is with Betsy Morgan and Satomi as both Giry and Carlotta but Tia and Maree only in the Giry track? Of all the things I couId possibly want the intel on - this is it.

What is the bathroom situation? I know there isn't an intermission, but is there a way to use the bathroom at any time during the experience that you wouldn't miss any of the show?

I thought about this as well. Hugh Panaro is at least 60 now, and I remember how very young Kaley Ann Voorhees looked (and was) when she played Christine on Broadway. That age gap would be even wider than in the original Leroux novel, which would make the Phantom more like her grandfather than her father.

Based on their Instagram posts, it seems like Zavelson is paired with Jeff Kready, if the same actors are always paired together.

I have to imagine there’s a few understudies in the ensemble. Like with the Carlottas and Girys sharing actors; there’s some reconfiguring they can do when someone calls out. That’s how every immersive show works because of the physical - and, in this case, vocal - demands of essentially being onstage and running around for a full show.

This gives me pause: "you can feed the younger Phantom marshmallows and interact with him. Most people watch the fire-eating show and then they kind of bring the younger Phantom to the front and force him to perform by taking away the monkey and tieing him up next to a piano."

Anyone on the fence about seeing this, please don’t. The fewer audience members, the better. I’d rather it die early on the vine than become a massive hit. In fact, I wish they were selling at least 100 fewer tickets per show. Yes, I know, very selfish of me. But here’s the thing,
I don’t care.

Nearly the same age difference as Crawford & Brightman, though AZ reads younger than 21. At least the children who will complain about such things won't be able to afford to see the show??

Are they singing to pre-recorded tracks (aside from the live violinist)? And how does it sound? Reading the descriptions I can't imagine a live orchestra would be feasible for this, which is unfortunate.
(Sorry if this has been mentioned already and I missed it.)

I can't help but get annoyed when people complain about age differences. Are they both under 18? No? Then why the eff does it matter? They need to touch grass, as they would most likely say

People are upset there’s an age difference but not that the Phantom is a sociopathic murderer?
