Anyone watching tonight? It starts at 8.
Cheyenne Jackson has such a gorgeous voice. I hope we get him back on stage.
They’re all been great so far! Patrick Wilson just seems like such a nice guy with piercing blue eyes and a beautiful voice. Robin DeJesus teared up and I felt something. Renée’s Grease moment was fun. Cheyenne’s Sarah Brown was silky smooth. The girls from In the Heights paid homage in a fun way, and the rising star (I forget her name) made Out There seem easy. I saw her win the Jimmy and the audience had a collective jaw drop. Watch her. Did I miss anyone yet?

I’m loving some of these arrangements tonight. The “If I Were a Bell” arrangement was fantastic.
That girl who sang “Out There” was PHENOMENAL. That’s a star in the making.

Jai'Len was INCREDIBLE. Her voice is so effortlessly rich and warm. I fell behind because I kept replaying her song. Everyone has been great but I will be glad when we're past these Zoom concerts. Broadway voices need to be heard live. Zoom can't contain them.
Billy Porter just left no crumbs with his rendition of Spamalot's "Diva's Lament."
I wish I had a love like Gavin Creel and Aaron Tveit’s.

Hell.Yes.

The best part of the show - though Kelli O'Hara was brilliant as always. I should have turned it off before Idina did her typical shreiking
I’m pretty sure you can classify Aaron & Gavin’s duet as porn. And it was everything.

Yes, but they sang Frank Wildhorn so doesn't that make it a snuff porn?
I’ve never liked that song before this and now I’ll listen to it on repeat for a month.

Everything about Gavin and Aaron's dynamite duet of ''In His Eyes'' from ''Jekyll & Hyde'' was genius. Their soaring vocals; their sly looks at one another; their tongue-in-cheeky delivery; the editing in of scenes from their previous appearance at ''Miscast.'' I've always loved this Leslie Bricusse/Frank Wildhorn duet, and can't believe this is the first time I've heard two guys do it. Bravo!

Gain Creel and Tveit singing "In His Eyes" was absolutely incredible. It's one of my favorite songs of all time, and that renditions was flawless. This whole program was so incredibly well done.

It never ceases to amaze me at the consistent polish and quality of every single thing Kelli O'Hara does. She is a gem.

Woke up this morning and had to replay Jai'Len's cover of "Out There." I wish it could be on Spotify but I hope it's at least one of the songs they cut into a separate video. Lots of great performances last night but this is the one I keep coming back to.

Vulture.com takes an admiring look behind Gavin and Aaron's 'Eyes'

I loved the event, almost all of the performances were superb. Excellent song choices and cast. I do wish more actors would act the song instead of just singing it, but that's a problem (in my opinion, of course) Miscast has had for years. Aaron and Gavin should have kissed after their number was over, it'd've made for the perfect comical and yet song-appropriate moment.

Finally watched - other than a couple having audio that sounded a bit over-engineered, this was one of the best “virtual galas” I’ve seen in this pandemic.
Echo all the prior comments about each individual and duet. Kelli O’Hara - just absolutely beautiful! Billy… BILLY! … Gavin & Aaron, incredible. Annaleigh trying to make me enjoy Cats?? Reneé just ageless and beautiful as usual. And agree, Jai’len - how do you make Out There sound so effortless?? I didn’t think Idina was that bad, come on….

I'm not a big fan of cats, but I really enjoyed Annaleigh's performance. She was cheerful and upbeat. Of course,I always love listening to Kelli's beautiful voice. She's one of my favorites. LOVED "Garon"!!! I didn't think Idina was that bad either. Morning Glow is my favorite song from Pippin and we did it in high school. I played it right after the election was called for Biden.
