What about all the kids online saying they traveled out of state to see it. Or the school trips asking to see Midnight over currently Broadway shows. What you’ve seen and what is happening may be two different realities."
What about all those kids? How many are there? Dozens, hundreds? How many can be verified actually attended? How many school trips actually bought tickets (probably very few, considering the logistics). Saything things online costs nothing and something like "all the kids" is meaningless. My social media shows me barely anything at all about Midnight despite it being very theatre-focused but I am not going to claim that is proof of lack of interest. You are very clearly cherry picking anecdotal accounts served to you by an algorithm that you have taught that this is what you want to see.
What can't really be disputed is that the extension tickets aren't moving at a pace in line with a show in big demand. One only needs to look at any date on Telecharge past 11/8.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
