If there's a significant amount of premium seats available the day of the performance, they'll drop the price down to a regular orchestra or mezzanine seat price.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I rushed last Thursday and got there around 6:45 am and was 5th in line. The first four people were two pairs and the two next people to come after me were also a pair, about 20 mins later. I think there were at least 20 people in line by 10 am. I was offered either two tickets together that were 3rd-row partial view or two tickets separately-- one in the back orchestra and one in the mezzanine. I went for the two separate tickets and the girls behind me took the partial view together. I don't know how many more people got tickets after that though. Dashed to the Majestic to get a ticket for that matinee.
With the temps in the single digits this weekend, bravo to anyone opting to rush on Sunday(they're dark Christmas Eve).

Max Clayton didn't post on Instagram, as per past. But this seems a likely heavily sold advance ticket, the Friday night before Christmas. Especially with the show closing.

Has anyone rushed this week? Has it been busy? Considering trying for one of these two show days, but with the weather warming up and holiday break, I’m thinking it might be tough. Or maybe all of those canceled flights are keeping the tourists out of town…
I rushed Monday 12/26, which was a 2 show day. I didn’t arrive until about 9:50 (because I knew I couldn’t stand in the cold) which was after they had let everyone into the box office lobby, and I was at the back of the line but still inside. I would estimate there were 50ish people ahead of me. I got the last rush ticket for the matinee which was an extremely limited view upper box seat. I wouldn’t recommend the boxes at all if it’s your first time, but it was a cool vantage point and I had seen the show before. I asked a couple that was about 15-20 people back what time they got there and they said 8:30. I believe after I bought my ticket there were still a few left for the evening show. Hope this is helpful.
I am thinking of rushing tomorrow since I have the day off. I plan on getting there at 8am...hopefully the line won't be too bad by then. It will be warm tomorrow so I am wondering if that will make more people show up early.
I rushed Wed 1/4/23, which was a 2 show day. I arrived at 8 am and was about the 45th person in line. By the time the box office opened the line was just over 100 people. I got two tickets for the front row partial view. Not sure how many tickets were left after me, but there seemed to be a lot.
Yes, I had SRO tickets this week on Tues, Wed and Thurs. They are 76.00. It is full view as it is in the back of the orchestra. They are sold 2 hours prior to the performance, but as there are only 4 shows left you should arrive 30 min to an hour before that. There are approx 20 to 30 SRO tix.

It must be so exciting to see a show on its last few days of performances, especially when it is leaving Broadway on such a high -- the biggest box office hit of the season! And to have Hugh Jackman, with his entertainer hat in full display, as the head of the company -- that makes it even more delightful. He can make the dullest moments into unforgettable moments of fun and joy!
I wish I did not live so far ( only halfway across the world) -- I would have loved to see Harold Hill & Marian The Librarian and the entire company off!

I rushed on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Tuesday we got out there at 6:05 and were about 22/23 people back? They ran out of rush tickets two people in front of us, so we rushed again on Wednesday, getting out there around 5:10ish. The line grew much quicker Wednesday- it was already around the block by 7 and by 9:45 it was almost to the marquee on 7th. We were probably 20th in line still on Wednesday, but got matinee partial view tickets (row P 42/44).
