I rushed yesterday, Wednesday 5/25. We arrived at 6.35am and there were approximately 30 people in front of us. I did a quick survey of the line to figure out how many tickets those 30 people would translate into. The 30 people in line were planning to request a total of 48 tickets: 28 for the evening, 12 for the matinee, 8 flexible, but with a preference for evening. I'm not sure what the flexible people chose in the end but it seems like everyone ahead of us got their preferred performance, albeit perhaps with worse seats. We requested matinee tickets and got G19 and G21 which are not partial view. We could see almost everything. People who arrived after us at 7am were still able to get tickets but I don't think they were able to get pairs of seats together, and they were further out towards the aisle.
There were two tellers at the box office when it opened, a gentleman who was very kind and explained all of the seating options along with pros/cons to people... and a lady who was not in the mood to talk. We got tickets from her and she rung us up without asking where we preferred to sit - but our seats were together and had a good view so who's complaining.

Any standing room reports? Is it offered every day? How far in advance should I line up?

Bump. Planning to go Saturday. I was thinking of getting there at 3am— given that it’s Tony’s weekend, would this be enough? And do they do rush for the matinee?

Interested to know what hideous hour we need to get in line for rush? Did @baltimorris or anyone else rush in the last week?

@girlfromoz2 this was our story for saturday: Got there first in line at 3:30am, about 30m later a professional line sitter arrived. An hour after that, a woman arrived (later joined by friends). The line steadily grew until it went around the block to W 50th around 8am. Doors opened 10:04am, we grabbed our tix - all were partial view, we were far stage left orch, row O. View blocked by the seat boxes above us so we missed Hugh's entrance, but otherwise a great deal. $50 for orch seats to the hottest ticket of the season the day before the Tonys? 3am was nothing!

Thanks for the update! Just arrived in NY today so keep fingers crossed for my planned early start later this week! 🤞🤞
My girlfriend stopped by the box office around 5:40pm and was able to get rush for the 7pm show. We got Orchestra J 2-4. I'm figuring that late in the day they were willing to give out whatever inventory was left.

Thanks so much for this info. I might try the same thing on Wednesday or Thursday…

Hugh is out with Covid, so not likely to be a typical week.

Hugh Jackman is out this entire week so any rush info before Monday doesn’t apply this week.

I'm guessing tickets are pretty easy to get when Hugh is out. Just like Boy From Oz, he's the draw and I can't see the show going much longer, if at all, once he's done. It didn't win any Tony's so that will hurt it's longevity past Hugh.

He’s out with covid this week - returning on the 21st. He has a planned filming break around Labor Day but the rumor is Neil Patrick Harris will be filling in while he’s gone. I don’t think the show plans to run beyond Hugh and Sutton’s contracts which is why ticket prices are so bonkers.

does anyone have any updates on the rush line for this week? are people having more luck going slightly later in the day?

Just an FYI based on Telecharge he is returning on the 22nd as they have listed he is not performing on the 21st.

My friend went today. He got E101 in the orchestra. Not sure the exact time he got there but I know it was well after the box office opened.
I walked up a couple minutes before curtain tonight and got a great seat. Orchestra R 5.
Me too, tonight. 10 min before curtain. Rush was avail.

I just won the digital lottery for tpmorrow's matinee. $76/ ticket
They e-mailed me my tickets. We're in Row Q center
I got orchestra row H rush today about 20 minutes before showtime. Would definitely recommend anyone with a curiosity to see this show catch it while it’s east and affordable to…

Dollypop - could you let me know how you entered the digital lottery? I don't see any info for this on the website (coming in to town late on Wednesday, so won't be able to wait on the rush line).
