Plenty of shows can get boring, but I find it funny when people say they fell asleep during something. I don't doubt that they did fall asleep--I've seen many people asleep at shows--but come on, if you fell asleep there was obviously something at play other than the show simply being boring. I have yet to see a person walk into any show perfectly wide awake and end up slumped over with drool dripping down their chin (though I didn't hear great things about Lestat...)
"If there is going to be a restoration fee, there should also be a Renaissance fee, a Middle Ages fee and a Dark Ages fee. Someone must have men in the back room making up names, euphemisms for profit."

CHICAGO (Although I love the show I feel that this production is VERY overrated. And although I don't like this particular production I'm still going to see it before Rob Bartlett leaves.)
NathanLaneStalker, just what about this particular production (as opposed to what other production?), to you, was boring? And I wouldn't go running to buy a ticket "before Rob Bartlett leaves" just to see him (what is this, his 15th stint as Amos?). I have no doubt you'll have plenty of opportunity to see him again in the near future.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

I just really don't like it. It's just a concert version. I like the original one.
