https://youtu.be/IfiqWKM2npU This is interesting. It's titled: "Nathan Lane: My Life In the Theatre". The video is 26:29 minutes long. He goes through all his Broadway Playbills. He does mention that the "Addams Family" was a troubled production in Chicago. It was so troubled, that he quotes Jackie Hoffman as saying: "Even gay men didn't want to see that musical" (something to that effect).
Yes. We know. THE ADDAMS FAMILY and it’s troubled journey was extensively discussed everywhere. Everything he mentions on this is nothing new to anyone who was around here during that time.
Not everyone knows everything about The Addams Family as much as you do.

What a charmer.
I enjoyed this video immensely, thank you for sharing. Nathan Lane is a treasure.

He also said on Seth Meyers yesterday that Pictures from Home was his last Broadway show but then started to joke around so I don’t know if he’s serious tbh
I’m a sucker for these career retrospective type videos. I hope Playbill keeps ‘em coming!

Interesting that he skips MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER and IT'S ONLY A PLAY.

This was an awesome video. I hope more Broadway actors get a chance to do this.
This is wonderful! Keep these coming, Playbill!!

I liked Clandango as an opening number. When You're An Addams is to 'Broadway' to me. Should be a mah up of both.
BTW, I could listen to Nathan Lane talk about his career for hours...especially Merlin.

I'd love to see him write a long memoir (and then record an unabridged audiobook of it).
He's also expressed interest in directing over the years and at one point was talking with Rudin about directing something. So that would be interesting, too.

A Nathan Lane memoir is long overdue.
My God, the people he's worked with!
