Could it be that they're holding them for Tony voters?

They seem to be gone everywhere.  No longer on TodayTix.

Nothing on StubHub or SeatGeek when I checked.

Previously more than a hundred were available for every performance this week.

There were only a handful for the final on Sunday and that is what I saw when I looked at the weekend dates. Very few for the entire weekend. Not sure when you saw "hundreds" but this was on Monday when I grabbed for the final.

I just called Criteron because I was curious. The entire rest of the run is sold out completely.

I was looking at Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and when I checked more than 100 were available for each of the four performances during that span.  I did not check for the closing weekend's performances.

Telecharge has no ability to purchase, either.
I’m going on Sunday and thought to grab one more to invite a friend, but the rest of the run is not for sale.

I guess I only have myself to blame for not buying a ticket earlier. I usually only buy tickets ahead of time if it's something like Hamilton or something I have the sense will be a hard ticket to get (like Mescal in Streetcar). Maybe I'll try the Today Tix lottery or going to the box office daily? I supose I could check Stubhub. Any other suggestions?

I tried setting an alert on the Theatr app...got one hit from a person selling a ticket for $2,431. LOL. No single piece of entertainment that has ever been made in the history of the world is worth that price. Absolutely insane.

I saw the final Saturday matinee. Quite a few stars in the audience: Samuel and LaTonya Jackson, Edie Falco (in the same row as the Jacksons), Hugh Dancy and Claire Danes. I spotted an empty seat here and there, but it definitely seemed full. The crowd gave the cast a huge hand at curtain.

The adaptation didn't work for me -- Oedipus is a story about fate and hubris, not a political thriller, and Icke's adaptation was unconvincing. I expect Mark Strong, Lesley Manville and Anne Reid will be remembered come awards season -- all three were excellent -- the rest of the cast were not on the same level, but I think that has as much to do with the writing as anything else. Glad I saw it, but it didn't bowl me over.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

In its final week, this just broke the Studio 54 house record for weekly gross with an intake of $1,212,949.

I somehow managed to see this a second time right before it closed, and IMHO it's one of the great productions of the past decade. Absolutely riveting adaptation, acting, and directing from start to finish. Give it awards and maybe even adapt it into a feature film.

Agree.

This should absolutely win Play revival, Best director of a play (for its direction and adaptation) & Manville's performance.  Strong is also quite good.

I loved it but I wouldn’t say it blew my mind.  I enjoyed Liberation and Practice more than Oedipus.

I honestly thought I had an extra week to see this!

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

The rest of the cast had far less to do.  The writing is excellent, smart and Icke's adaptation is all the things you mentioned AND thrilling -but is not a "political thriller " it's set during the last hours of a political race but has very little to do with politics. It isn't centered on high-stakes power struggles, where the fate of a nation, institution, or the world is threatened by corruption, conspiracy, espionage, or terrorism.  But it is written smartly suspenseful.  The audiences I saw it with were enraptured and shattered by the end.
