They let her perform to give the show a reason to perform. Either way it came off like a cruise ship show at best.

Yeah that was terrible... Mediocre to look at, absolutely horrible to listen to. I don't really know her but was Ana sick or something? She sounded really bad.

Really would've much preferred to watch Lin dance when he got pulled up but camera panned almost immediately away, what was the point of doing that then!?

ETA: Gosh I really hope I get to catch Cynthia in TCP. She has ceaselessly impressed since I first saw her at Miscast 2016.

The cast of TCP tore the roof of of The Beacon. I just saw it again yesterday and they are still as this Tony performance proved ...on fire!

Color purple will win best revival and best actress and get the biggest post tony boost I think

Andy Blankenbuehler won Choreography. Of course his choreo was good, but I wanted Savion Glover to win SO BADLY. The choreography in Shuffle Along was INCREDIBLE.

OK I wasn't sure about carpool karaoke w the Hamilton ( too easy) but switching to Le Mis ( yes I know the Lin Manuel connection) won me over.

What was wrong with the carpool karaoke?  I thought it was great! Who hasn't done this on a road trip before (albeit with much less famous friends lol)?
