Well, I changed my mind. Bought tickets today at the box office.
Seeing as Hello, Dolly! is now finishing up in March, any chance Carolee goes back into this?

Can I ask... why the sudden 180° mood swing?

Probably because The Devil Wears Prada Chicago tryout is delayed until 2021. I had funds available to check out something else.
I still have low expectations for OUAOMT.
Yikes. Even the abbreviation is unexciting.
Still waiting on a cast announcement for this. Intrigued by the idea of Carolee returning!

So, Chicago performances start next month - do we have any cast info on this at all?

We’ll probably get an announcement tomorrow or sometime this week.
Justin has an IG story that he's heading to rehearsals for his new Broadway-bound show, official announcement coming soon.
Heading the principal company will be Tony nominee Emily Skinner (The Cher Show, Side Show) as Stepmother, Justin Guarini (Wicked, American Idol) as Prince Charming, SAG Award winner Simon Callow (Four Weddings and a Funeral) as Narrator, Aisha Jackson (Frozen) as Snow White, Briga Heelan (Great News) as Cinderella, Allie Trimm (13) as The Little Mermaid, Morgan Weed (American Psycho) as Princess Pea, Brooke Dillman (Superbad) as The O.F.G (Original Fairy Godmother), Mimi Scardulla (We Are the Tigers) as Belinda, Tess Soltau (Wicked) as Betany, Ashley Chiu (KPOP) as Sleeping Beauty and Wonu Ogunfowora (Summer: The Donna Summer Musical) as Rapunzel.
The ensemble will include Raymond J. Lee, Ryan Steele, Matt Allen, Belinda Allyn, Viva Boresi, Stephen Brower, Jennifer Florentino, Selene Haro, Joshua Daniel Johnson, Amy Hillner Larsen, Korinne Tetlow, Salisha Thomas, Matthew Tiberi, Josh Tolle, Kevin Trinio Perdido and Diana Marie Vaden.
Once Upon a One More Time follows Cinderella, Snow White and other fairytale princesses as they gather for a book-club meeting; soon, a rogue fairy godmother drops The Feminine Mystique into their corseted laps, spurring a royal revelation.
The musical features an original book by Jon Hartmere (The Upside, Bare) with direction and choreography by Keone and Mari Madrid (Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself"; "World of Dance".

Thrilled that it's a relatively diverse cast. Welcome back to Broadway Allie Trimm! And also intrigued to see Briga's singing skills.

Are tickets on sale yet for the Broadway run??? Like....I never go into a show thinking it will be good or bad, so I definitely want to give this a try!

I don't think they officially announced a Broadway run or a theatre; everything has been speculated.

I wonder what happened to Laura Dreyfuss. She was in the workshop no? I remember seeing her in an Instagram post
That’s actually a very exciting and talented cast. I have tickets for Chicago already, but I’m more excited now. Simon Callow is fascinating me here.

Maybe she wants to focus on her music. She did just release a single, and ever since leaving DEH she's done more music on her own than productions (I think. I don't really follow her(.

It’s going to the Marquis late this year
Are we sure Simon Callow isn't a voiceover, like Judi Dench was for Into the Woods?
That said, very exited for Emily and Justin, and SUPER excited for Briga, who was fantastic in that "Great News" TV series.

I didn't even think of that. Now I feel a bit deflated. For nearly 45 minutes, I had my heart set on seeing Simon Callow in a Britney Spears fairytale princess musical.
With Anna Fleischle doing the set, I expect something suuuppeerr modern. Can’t wait to see it
I love all the diversity among the female leads too

Laura has also been busy filming the second season of the Politician.
A ton of people were involved with this as some point, as well as Laura, and aren’t moving on with it. Notable examples are Carolee and Bonnie.

I might be the only one most excited to see the bromance of Ryan Steele and Stephen bower on stage.
