From what I can tell a workshop/lab is happening currently and the cast includes Laura Dreyfuss, Bonnie Milligan, Tess Soltau, Carolee Carmelo and Alex Finke. Anyone else have more insight on this?

I follow Alex Finke on Instagram and she reposted a story from Bonnie and I just went through a rabbit hole going through her stories and people she tagged.... aha. Here are some Instagram posts

Is this a good thing or a bad thing; or is it normal for things to be pushed back? I'm kinda looking forward to this, hearing about the rumored casting.

Hmm, wonder if that’s from the recent workshop not going well. But I’d rather they take more time to make it right before presenting it at all and the move to April/May actually makes it easier for me to go see this in Chicago, although it seems pretty obvious this will end up on Broadway unless it’s a complete debacle.
I just read the elevator pitch for this from the article announcing the postponement, and this show sounds like a total dumpster fire. I've watched TYA shows with stronger plots.
There's a workshop happening later this month and they are apparently still aiming for Broadway next season, according to Justin Guarini who is playing Prince Charming.
"They created this beautiful story about female empowerment and breaking free from the chains of a lot of the things that women have to deal with and have had to deal with throughout time....It is just a funny, touching, awesome show."
