I'm entitled to my opinion.
Which happens to be wrong.

An opinion can't be wrong. It can just be ridiculous and elitist, much like emcee's.

Once again, you don't have to explain what predictions are. You may think you can beat out everybody here with your snarky remarks, but the condescension isn't going to work. And it has nothing to do with whether you're handing out the awards. At all.
I've said all I have to say. I'm not going to repeat myself. I guess I've been run into the ground by one of BWW's new resident mouth-runners, boo hoo.

You might think it's wrong, but I'm still entitled to it. And I think yours is wrong.
And I really don't care if you think I'm an elitist. At all. (And for the record, elitism generally applies when you actually belong to the group you're favoring. I haven't seen -- and won't manage to see -- everything this season. Nice try though.)

I'm not running my mouth in the slightest. All I've been doing is rebutting YOUR condescending remarks.

Condescension? I wasn't the one who called you "darling".

So this thread must be the only one on BWW, then. Your behavior in general somehow doesn't apply? And you must not know the definition of condescension.
This is going to be one of those, isn't it? Oy.

Posted: 4/4/09 at 3:35pmEmcee, you're wrong, deal with it. There is nothing wrong with any of us making predictions. I've seen, i believe 3 of the musical's eligible for the tony's this year and none of the plays and I could (probably fairly accurately) predict who will be nominated and who will win. You want to know what someone has to do to make predictions, KNOW THE NAMES OF WHAT COULD BE NOMINATED, nothing else.

Posted: 4/4/09 at 5:13pmJust read this little cat fight between emcee and kingkong. Ha. KingKong you sound so ridiculous. You're fighting on a computer. On broadwayworld.com. On a Tony PREDICTION thread. Chill. It's not like you're deciding who wins. I hope. If you are I'm sorry... for all of us. People on this board as so defensive and bitchy. Calm down.

I think Matt Cavenaugh has more of a chance than Bierko. Brantley gave Cavenaugh a rave. This is what he said about Bierko.
As Sky the heartbreaker, Mr. Bierko (who starred in the 2000 revival of ?The Music Man?) gives the smoothest performance, but it?s also bland. Like the others he sometimes seems to disappear while you?re watching him.
Yikes, lol.

Posted: 4/12/09 at 1:28pmI think Swenson has a great chance of winning. A much better chance than Tveit and Kudisch, IMO.

Best Musical: 9 to 5 or Billy Elliot- depending on if the TONY voters want something fun or something touching.
Best Play: God of Carnage
Best Revival: Hair
Next To Normal is off my list because I absolutely loathe the music.
Featured actress: I want Stephanie.
Featured actor: Greg Jbara or Aaron Tveit.
Score: 9 to 5
Set: 9 to 5
Book: I'm not too sure this year... Billy's emotions are mainly expressed through song and dance and I've heard 9 to 5's has it's flaws. We'll see... does Next To Normal have a strong book?
Best director: Diane Paulus
Best actress: Not too sure this year...
Best actor: The Billys.

"I heard that they will be submitting Marc Kudisch for Best Actor instead of Featured Actor because they don't have any other men in the show for that category."
Could be, but categorizing Kudisch for Actor and Block and Hilty for Featured is just bizarre. I know bizarre things happen, but....
