Oh JESUS.
But this just kills me:
"The Phantom of the Opera has my vote. Weber is a genius."

Owww, my head.
Oh my god, they are nuts. Have they ever seen Brigadoon? What a boring show.

Actually, this is my favorite: "i prefer troy mclure's interpretation of 'planet of the apes'."
At least someone mentioned Chicago. And though I wouldn't say Miss Saigon is the best musical of all time, it is my favorite.

I can't even like...
Ugh
Their sources seem to be quite reliable...

RENThead...seen it...
Rent fans embarrass me, but I still like the show. :)
Hey, I love Brigadoon. I've seen it several times, and only the film version bored me at all.
rjjn, You're like me. Like the show, hate the crazy fans.

I'm with you. I loved RENT when I saw it and it still remains one of the best shows I have ever seen on a stage, but the fanbase is a joke. They don't even see the show for what it really is.

My favorite response was "a few songs from Wicked". I didn't know that was a show. Is it the one-act version of Wicked?
Yes, it ends with Shoshana falling in a trap door, orchestra pit, out of the bubble/cherry picker, ect.
Actually...
One Act Wicked.
I believe the best musical would have to be Wicked or Spring Awakening(tour cast)! Rent was ok but I wouldnt say its the best! The musicals on broadway right now are good but I have not seen them all yet in tour.
I will agree with the person on the yahoo answers who said that the best musical ever was the Troy Mclure version of The Planet Of The Apes.
I love Brigadoon! Every time I hear "Come to Me, Bend to Me" I start singing "Music of the Night".
It's as if those were lyrics that didn't make it into the final version of Music Of The Night.

I saw the one act Wicked in Japan.
I like it better than the full two act version since you don't have to watch the whole show.
I don't know if I could call the Wicked theme park show a one act version of it considering that it is only a half hour long if that.

...speaking of ridiculous 'Yahoo Answers' threads.
Oh god. Why do people continue to create posts with stupid, vague subject lines.
