I thought that was his real hair. Maybe I was wrong.
(Martha Graham from a letter to Agnes de Mille) "There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening That is translated through you into action, And because there is only one of you in all time, This expression is unique. If you block it, It will never exist through any other medium And be lost. The world will never have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, Nor how valuable it is, Nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours, clearly and directly, To keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware Directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer, divine dissatisfaction, A blessed unrest that keeps us marching And makes us more alive than others."

This needed its own thread?

They took the "Ron Weasly" approach to hairstyles...All that magic and he still ended up with an afghan on his head...
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

Adam's hair cannot be contained in one thread.

Every other nuance of the Rent movie got its own thread, why not this?
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Don't get me wrong...I don't love CATS, but those were some damn fine costumes! Perfect...FOR A CAT!
I can't even discuss his Anne Heche pixie cut in the flashbacks.*
* Please note that I think Mr. Pascal is very talented and attractive...but no one did him any favors in the makeup chair for this flick!

Me too, Emcee. I keep imagining Adam in the whiskers and spandex.

Oh good. Now we all know who to blame so we can hunt them down and egg their cars.

Yes robbie, he has said in interviews that his hair was long when shooting began and he and Columbus decided to leave it that way for the film. A NOVEL choice indeed! {swoon}
"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had the practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." --Alice in Wonderland

hehehehe.
His hair IN the movie is actually way better than it was when he got the part.

I like to think my hair would look wonderful every day too if I had a stylist. :) I loved the long movie hair but when I saw clips of him with long hair just before the movie i thought "how on earth could he have thought that was a good idea?" Hooray for stylists :)

Heyyy, I don't think he looks like a lesbian toolwoman in the second picture.
So yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the Roger hair in some picutres (strangely mullet-esque), but I think that it works for the period and character. It IS funny that people think that it's a wig, though... it kind of does look like it could be.
