Rumors are swirling on social media that Orfeh is joining the reboot of RHONY (Real Housewives of New York City). I’ve always wondered if they’d ever cast someone from the Broadway community. Could be interesting.

She wouldn't be on Legacy, but I'd imagine she's friends with Countess through cabarets, etc.
But does she have the "lifestyle" for the show? They don't seem too extravagant. Either way I'd watch.

I don’t think they’ve even nailed down casting for Legacy, right? There’s the weird Countess & Sonja Simple Life-like show filming right now.
Orfeh would be interesting. Bravo definitely wants to steer the reboot in a different direction from the original, and if they’re setting sights on her, I’m interested.
I am big. It’s the REVIVALS that got small.

So much of these shows are made up/forced.....does it really matter what their REAL ifestyle is like? (Although, I agree, it sounds out of character for both of them.)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I mean being a Broadway star is going to come off as very high brow, etc, so I could see why they’d go that way. They’ve had success by plugging in day time soap stars in Beverly Hills so I could see having theater actors could make for good tv. Just depends on if they’d wanna get messy.

She’d have to be willing to get ugly to stay on the show and I never took her at the type to behave like that. She’s a little bawdy here and there but always classy.

Isn’t Orfeh Cher’s goddaughter, or did I make that up? I could see her playing into that on the show.

Cher is her honorary godmother. Orfeh attended LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts along with Chaz Bono, Jennifer Aniston, and a few others. Orfeh is still close with Chaz so Cher was always present in Orfeh’s life. Cher loves her Broadway work, her talent, etc so she proudly appointed herself Orfeh’s “honorary” godmother.

Orfeh confirmed on IG that she is NOT part of this reboot. She doesn’t know where the rumor came from.

I love this. Instead of the singing countess we get a real singer on the show.

Look above. She ain’t doing this. There is even a link to her responding to all this on her Instagram, which is one rumor she has zero idea where or how it started.
