Other Tony Winners in Disney shows.(ie Prince in Mermaid)

Hey there,
I've just been noticing how hard Mermaid is advertising "TONY Award Winner, Faith Prince as Ursula." Made me think if any of their past shows had any Tony WInners.
And maybe about what that says about Prince...

Before any one hates me, I did think was wonderful in AFFAIR!

I think the only performer that comes close would be tony nominee John Tartaglia in Beauty and the Beast

They didn't heavily advertise him, but Shuler Hensley was in Tarzan after he won for OKLAHOMA!.

Idina Menzel was a Tony nominee when she appeared as Amneris in Aida.

Andrea McArdle was a Tony nominee when she played Belle.

Gavin Creel was a Tony nominee for Millie when he appeared in Mary Poppins (in London).

Add Beth Fowler and Adam Pascal to the list of those with Tony nominations (Sweeney Todd and Rent) when they originated their roles in Beauty and the Beast (Mrs. Potts) and Aida (Radames).

Rebecca Luker was a nominee even before she was nominated for Poppins. Lee was also nominated.

Tom Bosley was a Tony award winner for "Fiorello!" before originating the role of Maurice in Beauty and the Beast.

Jonathan Freeman was a Tony nominee before being a replacement in Beauty and the Beast or originating in The Little Mermaid.

Um, Sutton Foster was a Tony winner in everything she's done after TMM.

Plus Christine Ebersole was a nominee and winner for 42nd Street, including Grey Gradens.

You did start by asking about Tony winners, right?

The original question was about Tony winners, but I think people starting expanding it to include nominees because there haven't been that many.

But in what Disney shows were Sutton Foster and Christine Ebersole?

Yes that was the original question. And it looks like only one person, aside from Faith, falls into the category.
