I can't believe this *BEEP* for one second. Yes they had their disputes, but who doesn't?, we all know they are two very different people. I'm sure maybe one day Idina accidently slapped her during the show and someone stretched the story behind it saying that it was on purpose. I think they must be friends deep down because they are mature enough to put aside their differences and be kind to each other. But I'm sure there was much jelously after the Tonys, thats normal, and thats also Cheno:). But wasn't it said that Kristin adlibbed Idina's tony into Popular the next show?
~Did anyone see Evening with the Pops a couple of nights ago? Right before Kristin sang For Good she explained the plot of Wicked and said "In the play i sing this emotional song with my costar Elphaba about saying Good Bye to each other." She didn't say Idina Menzel.... hmmm Something's fishy there.
But after each show, no matter how much they were fighting how much could they be mad at each other after singing For Good?
~ Rambling on:) Even though Cheno is very talented and i like her a lot. BUT... I would never work along side her (meaning a lead not ensemble) because there is always tension and a fight for the spotlight if i was Idina i would have nightmares about Cheno breaking into my home and stealing my Tony LOL!
ahhh, joel grey. the smaller, neater ned beatty for the musical set.
"But after each show, no matter how much they were fighting how much could they be mad at each other after singing For Good?"
You're kidding, right? It's a freakin' job. I do good things at work, and have civil and even pleasant shared moments, with people who I basically can't stand.
I can't fathom that this is still an issue or that people care. I DOESN'T matter if they're friends or not. And although each might be gracious, or warm and friendly at the stage door after the show, that's part of the job, too. They AREN'T your personal friends.
But, come on, Iflit.
Don't you just love a diva battle...even a little bit. I mean...this is no Davis-Crawford feud...but it'll hold us over till we get the real thing.
If only Idina, whilst sweeping past Kristin on the way to the podium, declared 'Excuse me. I have an award to accept.'
It's so amusing to see how desperate the fans are to think that the two rivals are really good friends and that the page 6 story is a heap of bunk. I guess Bette Davis and Joan Craford were really close too huh? The list is endless.
Better still, robbie, would have been if Idina had simply stuck her tongue out at Kristin on her way by.

Al, you and I used the same reference. I love that!
Yes, Al, apparently the whole concept of "acting" is lost on this crowd.
I mean...this is no Davis-Crawford feud...
Hell, Robbie, this aint even a DeWitt-Summers feud!
I also would have liked it if, earlier in the evening, when KC was hamming it up with Hugh while flying in the bubble, that Idina took out a sling shot and tried to bring the 'good' witch down.
Hardly a Lawson-O'Hara feud, either.
How about Duff-Lohan? Does that compare?
Actually, I think it comes closest to the Jen Spano-Denise Pepe feud of 1986.
Never heard of that one? Well...Jen was all kinds of pissed that Denise gave her a new nickname: M.U.D. (Most Ugly Dog). She had all the bitchy girls chanting that on the playground of Long Memorial School.
It was intense, man.
So, are JLT and Idina best girlfriends now? Or does no one care?
Well since JLT isn't a TRUE BROADWAY LEGEND like Kristin and Idina, no, seemingly no one cares.

I don't know if Idina and Kristin get along or not, but I want to know why is it more plausible to believe a story about these two being rivals and really not liking each other to the extreme than it is to refuse to believe that they don't hate each other and actually love each other to the extreme?
IMO, both extremes are on the same boat.
And to my earlier comment regarding the NY Post and gossip column, it had more to do with the NY Post than my fandom of Kristin and Idina. As far as most of us here know, this could be as accurate as them saying Richard Gephardt is John Kerry's running mate.
Robbie, you slay me. I would have to say this fued most closely resembles the Lohan-Duff one with the exception of course, that Lohan-Duff are actually young and famous and therefore, people actually care.
"Famous" being the key word.
Wow, guys. I don't really think the two ladies were anything close to friends, nor do I think they got along much...but if you honestly believe everything you read in a Page Six article without even realizing its blown out of proportion, I'm going to continue sitting here laughing.
I'm pretty sure that the page 6 article was an extremely watered-down version of the truth. A PG13 version, if you will.

"They AREN'T your personal friends." How can you say that, Iflit? Everybody knows that the more you see a show the more you become part of that show's Broadway family and they recognize you at the stage door and everything. I'd like to believe that if I was having a really bad day that Idina would totally get that and smile to cheer me up.
If that's not friendship, I don't know what is. And if singing "For Good" doesn't make enemies friends, I don't know what does.
Al, dearie, do you believe everything you read in Star Magazine and In Touch too?

Idina and Kristin worked together for 3+ years. Idina and Jen have worked together for...a few months. Thats the difference.
I belive that Idina is the cause of all this problem. My good friend, who knows the guy who walks Idina's pet pig, told his cousin that Jennifer and Idina don't get along (OmG!!). Idina said like, "that's my hair brush"..and Jenn was like "No..it's mine" and then Idina called her a witch (heheh lol :) ) and then Jenn as like "yeah..like that's funny..not!!".
But that's just what I heard.
I can not find the original article either. can anyone help?
